@FuhQueToo Not really, it picks up pretty good down low for what it is. He did have big issues on the launch though, the track was not prepped very good so he was having all kinds of issues getting it out of the hole.

@FuhQueToo This pass would have been a mid 10 second @ ~130's 1/4 mile run. He actually got the car back not too long ago, we might see it at the 1/4 at the TX2k12 supra meet in a few months. Might have a different setup though.

@TexasAceAA Was the Miata stock? See unless tuned, miatas don't have any chance against other cars, MR2 turbos, S2000s etc, etc. With a little cash though they can be fast as well.

MR2's ARE more suited to track racing then drag racing due to the layout of the car but that is not to say they can not be good drag cars. There are cars in the 9's now and a few new cars being built that might break into the 8's.

I am personally building my car (not this car, this car is somone elses) to be a good all around car.

@DVcustomZ He was running some MT Et Streets in 275/40/17. They were over 5 years old though and were virtually gone, he had to replace them right after this due to the cording.

The MT ET Streets are the stickest drag radial out right now. but beware, they will break things if you launch on them without beefing up the drivtrain.
