I agree no hospital should be shut. They shut my local A&E, we now have to travel over 10mls to the nearest one. It seems to be, the changeing of the times. I do hope you can keep your hospilal open, but don't hold you breath. As some body said £'s before "Lives".
Don't listen to those who say that the Safe & Sustainable process is unbiased. Don't believe that the UK's supposedly representative children's heart charity is the same (they're totally in favour of the RBH closure). The Brompton's getting an unfair deal from a review process that's got staff from the two other London heart hospitals on the commissioning group who've recommended the Brompton should close. The Brompton's not been allowed to challenge the audit. The whole thing stinks.
