@brittanypagels It was a matter of buying a car seat that would meet ERF for her weight/length, and then having to save up the money! It worked out though b/c by then we noticed her climbing into her brother's seat wanting to be like him (baby) and took advantage of it while we could :) No fusses from her yet either w/ turning her back to rear facing.

Hi! I love your videos and your beautiful family!!! I think it is great that you are still rear facing your children but just wanted to let you know that when rear facing the straps should be in the slots just below the shoulders not above. Then when foward facing they straps should be in the slots above the shoulders. Hope you are not offended by this I am big on car seat safety for my little one and always love advice. thanks!

@lisabuca76 Thanks :) We just ordered our 2nd car seat for our truck (she can't do ERF in her current seat, met the weight limit) it will be here in 2 weeks, which is when we planned on taking it to get it inspected. We got her the same seat he has but in flora print instead. We were just talking about the shoulder straps on moving them down/up, that's why I love the car seat inspection places we have around here they are life savers...LITERALLY! Can't wait to go when our car seat gets here!

@BBeLLaBoO I like Jaces for fwd facing but not for rear facing, as the weight limits she just met & can no longer use it. She has to use it for 2 more weeks until our new car seat comes in. I will you message you her current seat.

Where did you get the clip that goes on kacens harness?

My son is forever getting his hands out and i cannot stop him no mater what we try.

Ive only found a velcro type but he will just undo the velcro so i wont even bother with buying that one but i dont know where to find the same as kacens one - Ive been looking everywhere.

We are planning on going on a very long drive this summer and I think I will have to nurse at the gas station too hehe....How long does he take to nurse? My baby is only 3 weeks old and she still takes forever! lol How long of a drive was your trip?

@smleblanc1 We went last year when Kacen was 8 weeks and it took us 7.5 hours for a 5 hr trip to get here due to him nursing....This year Kacen was 14 months on our trip, again it's a 5 hr trip, but b/c he's nursing still it took us 6 hours. We didn't have to stop additional times, like just for him to nurse, but when we were already stopped (food, gas, restroom) I'd go ahead & attempt to nurse him. Just offer it.

@nmoney53 Me...mine use to be curly like that, but the older I got the less curl I kept and the more wave I gained. If you watch the 2nd video I uploaded you'll see my wave, that's my nautral look.

Oh lord, Finn is CRAZY for Dora... Question though, here they teach children some English in the program. Do they teach them a different language as well, or is it only in English??
