  • im going to london this year and i want to know (if you know) where is a better place to planespot heathrow or stanstead

  • @quizmaster9 Hello quizmaster, i'd suggest that Heathrow is a better airport to spot at because there is a lot more variety of aircraft types and airlines than would ever come to Stansted.

  • A Boeing 757 Never looked as good as it does in easyjet colours!!!!!!

  • @Freewings448 HI Freewing448 thanks a lot for watching and commenting on my video from Stansted with an EasyJet livery 757. The livery does look smart on the 757, but I've got to say I think the 757 looks pretty neat in virtually any livery! thanks again appreciate your comment.

  • they should just buy a few 757.

  • @dionsanchez24 Hello Dionsanchez24 thank you for watching my video of #EasyJet 757 at #STN_Airport. It would be great to see a few more differences in aircraft type especially at the hub airports like Stansted, we have occasionally had EasyJet A320's in as well. Alas, the 757 was a short term lease in aircraft and all have now been returned. Thanks again for watching.

  • somehow that takeoff didn't seem steep to me (no offense)

  • cum...

  • I didn't know easy jet had 757's or have they retired since the videe

  • @ew12345671 easyJet operated 757's for the summer season in 2010 to offset a shortfall in available aircraft and crew at the time. The aircraft have all been returned to the leasing companies. Thanks for watching.

  • @opollard Thanks for your comment on @EasyJet 757 @Stansted Airport. They had 4 757's leased in, 1 from Titan as filmed here, 2 from Air Finland and another from Astreus as far as I know. You are right though these were only short term leases therefore the interiors etc would unlikely be altered. It was great to see another aircraft type in the easy livery. it suited the 757, you were lucky to get the chance to fly on one. Thanks a lot for watching, I appreciate your comment.

  • Great work, keep them coming!

  • @jjorgemiami Hi there, a big thank you for subscribing, I'm glad u enjoyed this video. I've got 78 others online as well so I hope you get time to have a look at some of those too. I do post new videos fairly regularly, so there should be more in the not too distant future. Thanks again for watching and commenting.

  • Amazing video, one of your best. Would easyjet have employed 757 pilots or just retrained their own?

  • @jbcd1211 Thanks for watching this video from @STN_Airport I'm pleased you enjoyed it. EasyJet leased in the aircraft and crew as far as I know. This tends to be more cost effective than training existing staff from one aircraft type to another for such a short period. If an airline swaps manufacturer, often part of the deal would include the transitional training costs to the new type, but for short term leases ACMI (Aircraft Crew Maintenance and Insurance) type arrangements are normally used.

  • @bananamanuk Oh right, thank you very much for the great info.

  • Wow, i didn't know that easyjet has a 757.

  • @Mrjoaosousa1 Thanks for watching my #aviationvideo #EasyJet operated 3 leased #Boeing 757's last summer, however they have all since been returned, so it was nice to capture this leased Titan Aircraft in Easyjet colours. Thanks again for taking time to watch. #stansted #london #takeoff

  • @Mrjoaosousa1 neither did i

  • @Sundaybmxmag Hopefully all of the responses answer any questions you may have had about EasyJet operating 757s. Thanks for watching.

  • i love it when the pilots wave to you! its a bit more respectful in a way ;)

  • @planes1997 I'd say it certainly feels special when they wave, to be fair they have an extremely important and stressful job to do and they wouldn't always see people filming, but when they do and they wave and u know it's to u, it feels great! a bit of a rapour, a moment of mutual respect maybe? I dunno, but it's great. I've got more in the titles of my most recent Manchester airport videos. #pilot #stansted #aviation #video

  • Fantastic footage. Best I've seen in a long time, subscribed.

  • @EinkOLED Thats very kind of you, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed the Stansted Airport video with airside views. Thank you for watching and commenting. #stansted #aviation #airliners

  • how much time does Easyjet have B757??

  • @TheBadameco EasyJet had 757's for the summer of 2010. Thanks for watching my #aviationvideos

  • Wow that's a steep take off, I think that's almost at the limit, 4-5 degrees more and the plane could be in stall??? By the way, I didn't know that many Turkish carries use Stanted (Atlasjet, Pegasus, Turkish) thanks a lot for the upload.

  • @flyinghellfish2006 thanks for commenting. Currently STN is served by Pegasus and AnadaluJet. thanks for watching.

  • that 737 on takeoff sounded like a f 18 for a second

  • @TheXcaliber223 thanks for watching @stansted video and for ur comment. There were certainly some nice engine roars!

  • that plane now is thomascook based at newcastle

  • @tracey967 thanks for the update tracey967, I didn't know it had gone to Newcastle.

  • Great video ! Wow that is quite steep ! There are only 3 757

  • @mlinnie527 There's no 757's in EasyJet livery now mlinnie527, they were only brought in as a temporary measure, shame really as the livery really suits the 757. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • @bananamaunk really i didn't know that ? I saw it In July though but I didn't know there is none in livery now thx for telling me !

  • the atlasjet landing was bouncy with the front gear plus they added reverse thrust to early.

  • @emilyxellis I'm not a pilot so I wouldn't be able to comment on the use of reverse thrust but I am grateful you watched the video and commented. Thanks.

  • @bananamanuk :) im going to my local airport tommorow, Manchester intl, england i will say if i notice this :)

  • @emilyxellis the thrust reverse was not too early at all

  • @emilyxellis Wy was it to early? They had the main gear touched down before setting reversers... that was a good landing. can hear the wind during the recording.

    BTW bananamanuk! GREAT videos :D

  • @ollo1982 HI ollo1982 thanks a lot for watching the video and for taking time to comment. I'm pleased you like what I'm posting.

  • Disregard last comment, I just read the side of the plane. Sorry :P I saw the 2 windows on the side instead of 1 and was like "a320?"

  • I think the german wings is an a320 not an a319 :) cool video

  • Great video quality is brilliant

  • Your Videos are Brilliant! I love each and every one of them! I loved easyJet's leased 757s, and got the opportunity to go on all 3 of them whilst they were being leased during Summer 2010.

  • @orangealex17 Hello Orangealex17, thanks a lot for your comment, I'm pleased you like my videos. You were very lucky to get on all 3 of the EasyJet 757's, it was good to see the Titan one at Stansted, certainly made a change from the normal A319s. Thanks again.

  • @orangealex17 Easyjet leased 4 757's not just 3!

  • @dskxalive did they, I didn't know that, thought they had 1 x titan 2 x aestreus did they get an icelandic one or something?

  • @bananamanuk I dont know but in your search engine search 'Airfleets aviation' and then type in 'easyjet' and that will show you the whole of there fleet.

  • @bananamanuk

    1xtitan 1xaestreus 2xAir finland

  • @dskxalive Thanks for that dskxalive, It's a shame they've gone, it's nice to see airlines with mixed fleets, makes things a bit more interesting. At least Easy have 319s and 320s now!

  • i did not know that easyjet has got 757s ^^

    but it's such a beautiful plane! =)

  • @75426168 Hi there, thanks for your comment. Easyjet only had the 757 on a short term lease over the summer of 2010 - they had 3 in operation. This one was owned by Titan Airways at Stansted. It has since been returned.

  • how did you get so close can anyone do this also brilliant keep them coming!

  • @Aviationnation10 Hi there, thanks!! this was a special day organised by Essex police to a special area of the airport so cannot go there at other times. Rest of the time at Stansted you have to be on the other side of the airfield from where this was shot.

  • @bananamanuk pity :( does it happen regularly would you have to be from the area to go?

  • @Aviationnation10 no i've only been invited once as per the vid, it was arranged as part of their STN spotter scheme. TBH STN is a very boring place right now, you'd be better off at LCY or MAN

  • Very good video

  • @pvmunster thanks very much i'm glad you thought it was a good video thanks for taking the time to watch and to comment.

  • GREAT SHOTS !

  • @TheChefKev Thansk TheChefKev I think these are one off's for me at STN as it was a special day.

  • @KevishScot Thanks mister, glad u liked it

  • Excellent video, some great panning which i find difficult to achieve i'm always too far in front or behind so.whats the secret to good panning ? what's the planewatch scheme?

  • @airaction2257 Hello airaction2257 thanks for your compliment and for taking time to watch the video. The secret to all videoing is practice. I know that sounds pretty lame, but it really is. You have to think about what you're filming and how, like if the plane is taking off, its getting faster so you have to accelerate your pan, and vice versa for landing. I sometimes find it easier panning left to right than right to left. I don't think I'm as good as I could be hence i still need practice.

  • @airaction2257 Btw, the Planewatch Scheme was set up by Essex County Council specifically for people that regularly spot/ photograph at Stansted, you have an ID badge and this day was the result of the introduction of the scheme. We then become additional eyes and ears for the police and hopefully help to keep anything suspicious to a minimum.

  • Fantastic stuff! I've stopped commenting on your videos but I still think your panning and framing are some of the best, well done.

  • @Jett203 Hi mate, from a pro like yourself, that means a lot. It's not easy to keep watching and commenting on everyones videos so that's not a problem in the slightest. I am the same, I don't always comment, but I still like watching. I really appreciate you taking time to comment on this.

  • I was on the Easyjet (Titan Airways) 757 in August to Majorca.

  • @JoeRoss1993 Hope you enjoyed that flight JoeRoss1993.

  • @bananamanuk I did enjoy the flight thanks. The cabin had leather seats and lots of legroom (more than that of Easyjet and Ryanair). The in-flight entertainment tv-screens were used as a flight map to show us where we were flying over. But audio entertainment was provided if you had your own headsets. As the Plane was leasded from Titan, a Titan Airways crew was used and they were very friendly and follow the basic Easyjet regiem of buy-on-board snacks and drinks and 25 minute turn-arounds

  • @JoeRoss1993 I did wonder if the interior of the plane was in the usual Titan configuration. It certainly sounds like you got even more value for money by being on this 757 than the usual U2 aircraft. I always hear and read comments about the friendliness of Titan crew. I was once in Shannon and they had a plane over there they were flying back on the same flight as us. All were immaculately presented even though they were flying as passengers!.

  • awesome video! Loved that cargo 747 you caught!

  • @frequentairbusflyer8 Thanks a lot frequentairbusflyer8 glad u enjoyed it.

  • Nice video again! I notice that Stansted seems to be getting more and more "heavy" jets. You only used to see the occasional FedEx MD-11 or 747F, but now you get A330s, A340s, B767Fs, B757s etc. If only they had been given permission to build the second runway...

  • @malmo66 Hi malmo66, thanks, glad you liked the video. Don't be thinking STN is getting more and more heavy jets. A few years ago there were many more in the shape of Maxjet, EOS, American, Zoom, Globespan etc. Many of what go in now are cargo or special middle east Saudia Arabian flights rather than scheduled passenger. The only decent addition was Air Asia X. Even the AtlasJet here was only operating for a few weeks 2 take over flights of KTHY. STN doesn't need a second runway! Thanx as always

  • Love it

    Great work as usual

  • @AirplaneSpotter10 Thanks for taking time to watch and comment AirplaneSpotter10, as always I do appreciate it.

  • Excelent! I liked the 757 and that A330.

  • @falkowiegandt Thanks falkowiegandt I appreciate your comment and am glad you liked the EasyJet 757 and AtlasJet A330. Thanks for watching I hope you enjoy my other videos too.

  • Yeah, a new one ! I'ts still great, nice to see some holyday airlines. I think, I saw the Atlas 330 last month in Antalya, such a great aircraft. So THUMB UP (sorry for the short comment, but i'm tired :D

ps. There is a very very short audio error at the beginning

  • @planeMOVIES Hello planeMOVIES thank you for your comment I'm pleased you liked watching the AtlasJet A330. I think it only operated to STN for a short while.

Thanks, I am aware of the audio glitch at the start of the video, this is, I think, because my poor old PC struggles to cope with native HD video when using real time transitions.

  • fantastic video as always. I love the atlasjet a330 landing it looks like an eagle about to catch its prey

  • @TheWorldsAirlines Hi TheWorldsAirlines thanks a lot. I agree with you, the A330 looks like a bird of prey when in the air, very smart.

  • is that 757 permanent or just a one-off?

  • @mrhighspeedtrain The 757 is one of 3 in use over the summer season by U2 one at STN is being leased from Titan Airways. (Thanks for your comment mrhighspeedtrain, however please only submit comments once, I have to approve before they are shown here, this is NOT to filter criticism, but is to prevent swearing/ politic messages etc) Thanks again.

  • Great video

  • @mrhighspeedtrain thanks mrhighspeed train

  • As I have come to expect from you, another fantastic video. Great to see the Easy 757. Also liked the AtlasJet A330 - great video, liked!

  • @blueb0g Hi blueb0g thanks a lot for your comment, I am pleased you liked the video. Your comment has to be the quickest I've ever received, almost as soon as the video finished uploading! thanks again.

  • continue making all your videos are brilliant content and quality do you ever video at heathrow there is a spot called myrtle avenue if you search it on youtube you will see how good it is

  • @Aviationnation10 Myrtle avenue is really boring.

  • @Aviationnation10 Hello Aviationnation10 I really appreciate your comment and thanks for taking time to watch my videos. I have been to LHR once, although I didn't find Myrtle avenue very easy to film at because there is an awful lot of background noise - that said, you get some amazing shots from BIG planes. I'm sure it will be worth another visit soon. Thanks again.
