Oh and i freeride, i have done it for years. And i just started BMXING and for the most part, bmx is completely different. Theres flatland, vert and park none of which is in this video. Also, like i said, the street in this video is DECENT. The freeride is from Redbull, and other extremely professional freeride videos. Check out mark webb, and aaron ross for better bmx, and look at redbull freeriders to see the best of both worlds.

shockwave3895, have you noticed how its all the bmx riders that don't wear helmets, I think i know why its because they are in the city caring about their looks because there near a hospital where as the freeriders and downhillers are 2-5 hours away from a hospital and know no one is really even watching unless they are taping it or with their friends, and their friends are probably watching their own riding instead of the their friends. Thats just something I noticed.

I prefer the freeride, and MTB in general, bmx takes skill, but a lot of the things they do can be done on a mtb, what freeriders do can't be done on a bmx bike. Plus to me doing a 180 over a road gap flying down a mountain just looks cooler than a guy on a bmx bike doing one over a stair.

both sports are hard, we can all agree on that. some aspects of bmx are harder such as technical difficulty and complexity of tricks, ex quad whip, you don't see that in freeriding. freeriding is mostly big ass jumps, drops , and gaps, which takes tremendous air balancing skills. both sports are harder in their own respects. but if you include flatland bmx into the mix..... bmx wins hands down.
