I'll never understand the enigma of Yulia and Lena. I mean there Yulia is, holding Lena's hand like they are a couple, saying how real she is and nothing is invented in their story in this film about the intense love between girls, etc. And then she goes and calls lesbian love dirty and vulgar. lol wtf ??? Is it because homosexuality is still practically seen as a mental illness in Russia or something?

Also Lena is hilarious. Its always been this way: Lena just sitting there while Yulia talks.

I agree with you about what you said first, but you are not right about the last.

If you know tatu for a long time you should know that when they do interviews they are always like this, because of a very simple reason. Lena speaks english fluently so when there isn't any translator she does the speaking. In cases when they are in Russia or ther is a translator Yulia answers the questions, because she doesn't speak english well.

It's not like Lena doesn't have thoughts or anything.

I wasn't implying Lena doesn't have thoughts :) I know she is a very intelligent, well-read person. I thought it was cute/charming that she just sits there sometimes and doesn't say anything.

I understand that she speaks in the English interviews because Yulia doesn't speak English very well, but really, there's no excuse for the Russian ones is there? Lena speaks Russian obviously as well as Yulia does, but Yulia is always the one talking way more ;)

You are right that Lena could speak as much as Yulia does in the russian interviews, but i think it's a kind of arrangement between them. And Yulia likes speaking a lot so she gets some space for that.:P

Right after I posted what I posted I thought to myself the exact same thing as what you said: that they probably have an arrangement. I think you're totally right there. And yeah, Yulia likes to talk alot, and she's always funny and entertaining when she does lol. But of course, Lena has her moments too. She can be extremely funny :)

By the way, i'm really looking forward to see this new movie, but i was just thinking if it will ever be on air because they started to promote it like ages ago and nothing happend since that. Don't you know anything about it?

Yeah, I don't know what's up with that movie. It feels like it's been *ages* since it was first announced, and since then it just kinda fell off my radar. I guess you can always check its imdb page. I'm sure there's lots of discussion on the message boards there :)

You are totally right. Lena has her 'Special' or 'Funny' Moments. I have seen an interview here on youtube. First thing she said to the man was:"You were kissing a boy?"

But then she repkied to other question saying: "That Was Fuckin' Gossip.

You are right about Lena has her funny parts of speech sometimes, she's usually quiet and all nice but it sometimes depends. Lena have her own way of saying "bad words"

in the beginning mostly lena talks english at promotion tour or interviews in europe or in the USA....thats bevause she can better speaks english then yulia...this is what i road in a article.

I think Lena knows english better than Yulia or they decided Yulia would do the Russian and Lena would do the english interviews, I noticed that too. I love the pionts they're making too!
