Damn nice truck, i have the same truck that i was given from my grandmother, im working on restoring it right now, and that's actually the same color im going to paint it. i love all the classic chevys and fords, ecpesially this truck, trucks are what built America along with men.
beautiful c-10 man. My dad had a 72 c-10 that he was working on restoring but him and my mom got divorced and long story short.....i never saw it again. The older chevy trucks are true american classics
@boypianomaster 800.00 on motor/trans rebuild , 450 wheels/tires on ebay , 300.oo on the interior and 1,200.oo paint and the drop was free . I bought the truck for a thousand dollars.
hay man i got to say im glad to see your still rockin the trimming on the truck, and the color?? shoot i wouldnt have done it any other way, im fact that was the same color im doin mine,
@txbigblocks I just kept dropping it till i liked the stance.. I guess about 5 inches all the way around. It still has a bit of a rake to it. I didnt want it to look like a lowrider .
I honestly didn't know any of the '71s had that grill in them, I know all '72s had it, but I thought '69-'71 had all the same grills as well, but I guess maybe some '71s had that grill in them...huh....learn somethin' new everyday.. Thanks for the reply!
On these trucks the Chevys all had the same front clip from '69-'72, it was just the grill the changed. '67 and '68 looks the same, but the '67 didn't have side lights on them. the hood and grill was different, the as you may know the GMCs had a different grill but the fenders and hood would fit the same years I said on the Chevys.
thats actually not right. they had the same hood, fenders, and core support but the grilles were different from 69-70. then they changed it to the honeycomb from 71-72
350 stoked to a 383. 11-1 compression, 411 posi-trac. couldnt go too large on the cam to keep AC running right. I drive it to work everyday . Its not a show truck by any means.
dude im only 14 and i got a motorbike added a rapid spinning gattling gun that fires paintballs on the end :D and nice paint job.... but make sure to be careful where you drive that with the blue :\ i hate living in chicago with all these gangstas now
Not a bad truck! But I had to mute that boofer music....sheesh
