Holy crap I only heard the snes version of this and didn't like it and hearing it on the sega version has changed my mind about this song. It doesn't surprise me considering how loyal I am about the Genesis.
I loved this level so much. When I discovered the code (AFTER driving myself insane beating this hardest of hard games, wouldn't you know it), I would skip to this level to play it over and over, honing my puppy-whipping technique to a fine art.

The snes versions are horrible they make my ears bleed. This version is waaaaaaaaaay better.
