This isn't fictional this is what was said after the televised interview. Their argument here isn't being televised, therefore the personal resentment was more easily recognized.

@akerno yeah, in the real interview there was nothing whatsoever about revie not shaking clough's hand. i don't like that they put it into the movie, it makes the argument seem petty to anyone who doesn't know the full story behind the two men's rivalry
