I think this is the first great opening AMC has had since the 80's when the cover of that album was turned over. Great job people!

@COWBOYMACLEOD Yes, Griffin and Caleb; Griffin came on last winter as Kendall's cardiologist and Cara (Lindsay Hartley)'s brother; Caleb is Palmer's nephew who Erica meets when her sabotaged plane destroys his house back in early 2010

I'm sooooooooooooo glad they didn't change the theme! I really like this version. I also agree they should have just re-done the previous version with new shots. but I can live with this opening.

Not bad but I liked the last one better. Just do like in years past, replace /add/remove as needed. I love love love Susan!!!!!! she rocks. But the new Bianca is ugh

Also, i'm very dissapointed with who they casted marissa as her replacement. (the girl between krystal and annie) She isn't all to great of a "marissa" interpreter if you know what I mean. Scott's character as well is somewhat dissapointing as well since he looks really old to begin with. What, did scott grow 10 times older over the time he spent in jail? I mean the last actor to play as scott seem to do really well compared to him, as well as for marissa.This new direction for them isn't workin

Well this is the "LA Style" form of an All My Children opening. Some pros and cons are that (pros) Colby, Asher, Griffin, Cara, Bianca, and Madison, whom i'm starting to favor over all the new people, are finally added to the opening. Cons are that Amanda, Jake's wife, isn't added into the opening, only a snippit of her and him walking in the park, that's it. Natalia's leaving on around Febuary, so she's not going to be with AMC anymore, Damon's leaving, and Angie's temp. gone b/c family issues.

I don't like this new video arrangement, I wish they would have just redone the previous opening with new shots of the cast. The arrangement itself isn't that bad, but it doesn't fit the music I don't think.

I don't watch AMC, I do sometimes when OLTL is an hour away from starting, but judging by their previous intro, this one is definitely better. I also think AMC has the best music out of all the soaps on all the channels

Love it! Great to see the ABC soaps are not shortening the openings down to 10 second title cards and continuing to create these.

I realized that AMC hasn't have any decent bumpers in years. I hope the new opening features bumpers like GH's.

@docgirl2009 yeah i agree because ABC was the first one to use those kinds of bumpers and spoilers after the show and what happened on the show before as well well in 2008 they had to get rid of them due to budget cuts now only one life to live does the spoilers at the end of the show

WOW, I love this new opening! I kinda miss the fact that there aren't real headshots like the usual type of openings but this is still really cool looking, and the ending with the Kane women is sweet. =)

I really like this new opening but I don't understand why Chrishell Stause (Amanda)doesn't have a part in the credits? (I know she is in the scene where Jake, Trevor, and Jake are walking through the park, but she still doesn't have her own part.) Is she leaving the show?

@Rylee4evaAMC Chrishell's been recurring since the move to LA, I think, so technically, she shouldn't even be in the credits, so I think they just threw her in like this since Amanda's still such a major character.
