I agree. The monkey and lion didn't look angry to me either. I definately saw the monkey smiling and pointing like the monkey was pointing at the parrot like he was saying to the lion "hey look at that, he blended in with those beautiful flowers like he came out of nowhere" and maybe the lion roared like he was saying "hi" to the parrot and/or "wow" after he saw the parrots beautiful colors. (I also definately saw a small happy grin on the lions face before and after he roared).
When I was very young, the only thing that scared me on this skit was when the lion roared. The reason it scared me was because the lion roared a little too loud and it was hurting my ears.
Are people with colorblindness able to see the parrot while it is standing still? Maybe this animation was some sort of kiddie vision test... Anyway, as a kid I cold see the bird and this was a favorite of mine on Sesame St.
i think it was to show kids to look past the big picture... Have you ever tried to show a kid a picture in the clouds, it can get frustrating because they don't pick it up as quickly.
I remember this one, I saw the bird from the very beginning and thought that any kid who didn't had to be really stupid (yes, stupid people annoyed me from a very young age lol)
favorite love this one
