1/3 Murphys Oil Soap 1/3 Rubbing Alcohol, 1/3 water. The Alcohol is there only to speed drying. To store use your favorite lube/protector. I use Kroil.

I've used 1/3 Murphys 1/3 peroxide 1/3 alcohol INSTEAD of water.... peroxide seems to boil the crud right out.
