Since when is abusing the stat stone trick considered legit? I get the level 99 glitch, but in my opinion the stat stone trick is pushing it. It was intended that way for people who had trouble. On a side note, why use these two? You'd be better off with say Killey or another two-hit character. Clive is your best bet for multiple attacks, though they're all good if you beef up their tech enough. As for this particular scenario, you'd have been better off giving Rina a Double-Beat over a Killer.

It's not a glitch actually... it is meant to be like that. The fact is that Lv 99 is hardly hardly any stronger than Lv 70... Since Suikoden 2 (or whichever series) has so many characters, the experience system has to be changed for easily leveling and catching up, and to prevent it from being abused, it is why as your level gets higher, you can lesser stats upon leveling, especially after Lv 60.

Yeah. I have had characters hit for as much as he is doing and sometimes more. but with Luc it's completely bogus plus I can tell from when it shows luc's Stats after the fight that he cheated.

You probably could kill it that quickly if you spent enough time with the right characters and setup. but It's obvious to anyone who knows the Character stats and limitations of this game that this guy cheated

That was my thinking also if you look at Luc's luck at the end it's 255 which IS impossible because Luc also have possibly the worst luck in the game and you only get 1 luck stone and even at lvl 99 he wouldn't be anywhere close to 255 luck. that is impossible to do without cheating.

I am curious as to how you managed to get luc to hit for 3000 damage in one shot considering he is possibly THE weakest character in the game as far as STR stat goes. Only way you could ever get him to hit for that much is MAYBE if you gave him the Double-Strike , Double-Beat and Violence Rune combo which really is a waste on someone as phsycially weak as luc. or unless you spent FOREVER playing the wall climbing game to get A LOT of Power Stones

Yeah with a good grunt you can easily do that much. I've done over 10K will Killey before. By giving him Violence , Double Strike , Double Beat and Exertion on his wpn. But You can tell from the stats on this guys characters that he cheated.

killey + sheena with power ring/fire emblem, fury/killer/double-beat rune, with master garb (+15str +15tec)

rage/thunder rune on both weps and power ring on all items (fire emblem for extra)

does more damage than pesmerga/georg/viktor can ever do without 3 rune slots, and sheena + killey have higher mag def stats as well (not that it matters)

mine were Mazus, Georg, Viktor, Luc, Hero, Pesmerga, yet the best combination, viktor, georg and pesmerga do 2k damage in 1 go, luc mazus and hero do abotu 5k doing blazing camps and forgiver signs, so its equal to 7k damage and 1 heads are dead, and next row about 8k dmg from everything (2 exterion runes, and 2 fury runes, and 1 double beat) and ofc 3 thunder runes (mazus, luc, and hero, 2 rages mazus and luc, 3 mother earth, hero, pesmerga&viktor.

From what i know, Pesmerga+Hero+McDohl+Luc+Rina+­Clive is quite nice. Be sure to have clive equipped with Exertion + Killer, deadly.

well u didnt undestand me though, i said pesmerga georg and viktor do 2.5k dmg together in 1 turn, knowing that they're not on level 99 (well pesmerga, viktor, georg are on lvl 89) and luc, mazus and hero do about 5k damage so we can tell that killing 2 heads in 1 turn is quite easy ;d

Hah, nah. He just equipped a Kindness Rune on a person and let the person die in battle. Whoever he equipped it on made its attack go to 999. It is a pretty easy trick :)
