love the book and love the movie! of course the movie is not like the book, but I like the fact that they include some things from the other books of the series to make the movie more "adventurous".

The BBC series was by far the better visual adaption!!
The movie--lets say I was expecting a lot more than delivered! Plus, I think the suits in Hollywood probably thought that making a movie was a good way to cash in on Doulas Adam's death...but that's just my humble opinion!
