It's not as good as some people are saying. Today's music is so bad. You don't have to be a good singer to be a successful recording artist. This guy can't sing compared to anyone left on the show but will probably get a contract. The lyrics were not entirely original (the song entitled Where do we go From Here was recorded by at least 5 other artists in the past) I'm not hating on him personally, I think I just hate the thuggish image and lack of vocals

Chris is a breath of fresh air for these types of shows, which rarely, if ever, have good original music performed. He's also so unique and stylized that he should never have to cover other artists songs, or be judged for covering them. Anyone who knows what singing is about also knows that Chris can sing. He has some difficulties, his vocal cords seems to be limited somehow, damaged, can't sustain big notes, breath problems, probably drugs affected it (but it’s retrievable).The fact is that he's really a musical guy who can sing, with his own limitations, in his own ways. When he sang here his own material, he was brilliant and it will keep him on the show. I hope he can keep himself sober, cause he has a brilliant career.
