that depends. i say this because i have friends who are more into real literature, like Hemingway and Shakespeare, but then I have friends (and myself) who are more into the commercial litteratre, like the twilight series, that are good, but never going to be classic. you know, the kinds of stories you don't have to think about. So if you want a nice easy read, then yes read them.If you don't want that then no i wouldn't suggest it.

The movie is tense and awkward, Bella and Edward sound sick and pathetic when they say what they say to each other. I watched twilight before I read the book, and HATED it.... now that I have read all the books I can safely say that it is truely an amazing story that has unfortunately been ripped to pieces by a poorly directed, attention seeking, media pleasing film.

Dilemma. I HATE the Twilight movie because the characters are so wonderful in the book and shitastic actors portray them in the movie(under horrendous direction, though I remain hopeful for the new directors vision for New Moon).
