TOTALLY AGREE! I've lived Over fascinated by the English adaptation of this haunting song, but then I found this wonderful version and Can't stop listening over and over. Amazing the way it has captured the mood, the phrasing, the soul. It may be the latin rooted origin of Portuguese and French languages. BTW, have you checked Soledad Gimenez spanish version? AGUAS DE MARZO.....a latino swing for this timeless gem...

Ca me fait redécouvrir la chanson dont les paroles en français sont de Georges Moustaki, chaque syllabe est une balle rebondissante, c'est remarquable de faire ça en français, de la part de l'auteur mais aussi de cette adorable jeune femme qui sait faire rythmer les mots comme personne même dans une langue qui n'est pas la sienne à l'origine.
