One wrong assumption all anti-legalization/reform proponents make is that people need government to choose whether or not to use drugs. That's a fallacy; somebody who wants to try heroin, coke, meth today can get those drugs with relative ease. Somebody who has no interest in drugs will continue to have no interest in drugs when they do in fact become legal.
A short curiosity fueled spike in use may occur initially, but data shows us most would NOT become regular users.
