  • I'd love to hang there for the night with some friends

  • "Just 50km north of London, in Maidstone..."

    Not a great start.

  • Regardless of what many years attempts of understanding may say, I believe that for a colonizing power to build upon that site,is quite the same as dog shit on a graveyard.

  • Its weird when you watch horror movie you laugh at it but when you watch something like this you're like fuck that im not going there at night

  • This place was gorgeous!!! I was at this exact place when i was 8 years old, 11 years ago, for my summer vacation in Ireland, true story. I saw this place with my own eyes and went to look at the stables by the castle. I'm glad to know that they're restoring the old beauty. And the story of the little girl was a true story, the guys that were there touring us and trying to get us inside told us so while we were there. If you want proof, we have it on tape ~

  • I wouldn't believe any stories about goblins, fairies and all the other clap-trap that comes from Ireland, they are still 400 years behind the rest of society in their thinking. They are still killing each other petty religious issues, the ruling bodies had to build walls between different areas of towns and cities to stop them constantly brawling in the street and shooting/blowing up one another. The "War" they endlessly fight finished OVER 400 YEARS ago in the rest of the British Isles.

  • @silver760 it did stop over a hundreds of years ago you dumb fuck we only tell the stories to prove how dumb other society's are because for some reason they believe.

I was 12 and I made a 42 year old american believe in lepercans and there only childrens storys no one believes them get you facts right and we also have the best education avaible so were far ahead as far as your concerned

  • @silver760 Piss off you arrogant brit, bit rich coming from you when yer country tried (and failed) to colonise any friggin piece of land you set foot on, oh how that has come back to haunt the lot of you now,,,,,,we have a great history which we are proud of, it was you lot that caused the fighting, we only took up your offer !!!

  • i want the intro

  • Maidstone isn't north of London.

  • Pints of guiness...please

  • 9:41 FAIL. WHEN U DIE UR HAND DON'T STAY FLAT LIKE THAT.JUST SAYIN..

  • @KANASALUSALU FAIL, learn to spell and to use decent grammar. Also, it's a dramatisation, just sayin'...

  • @KANASALUSALU does it matter shes not really dead

  • England Has The Best Shows Ever. o - o

  • @AniiKitteh Agreed!

  • Its Sean Ryan!!! 2:22

  • maidstone is not 100 miles north of London FACT!

  • Random question for everyone on here.... If you have never been to a specific location but yet ALWAYS dream of it and knowing thats where my family originated from so i finally look up the place and its EXACTLY as i have dreamed it over the years. Would you take that as a sign of your heritage caling u ?or just simply you want to travel there badely? Im just curious bc i have had these specific dreams and the only way i know to describe the feeling it leaves is like its pulling you to it....

  • @jadrtr I'd have gone already, if it was me, of course ;)

  • @Kypooh2 I would have gone days ago if i had the money lol :-)

  • I live just outside Tullamore, less than half a mile away from Charleville Castle. I went to primary school with Bridget Vance's son Michael for a few years about 16/17 years. I really didn't like him but I can't for the life of me remember why. He looks the image of his mother, actually.

  • Its all bull the castle is far from haunted

  • Poor kid, just having some FUN and then she DIES. : (

  • SOOOO COOOOOLLLL!!!

  • i would love to experience these things america has some hauntings but its not almost everywhere. ive exp a haunting by a child he was mischievous i guess he was bored. he left with my nephew one day and never returned to the place i used to live. the spirit would stomp through the house nightly at 3 am.

these peoples comments are funny, bless it be? that's not the phrase my partner is raised wiccan.

  • nice vid GW

  • Have to say after staying overnight two times over the past two years I;ve never noticed anything strange in this castle

  • You're right, bassatnight...I'm from Canada, which has a young history...you rarely hear of such things there, indeed, the idea of ghosts is laughed at. I moved to the UK a few months ago, and even though I'm not particularly sensitive I can feel the ghosts here whenever I turn around. I think it's the incredibly long and bloody history of this place.

  • @dejisgirl you must not have lived in Nova Scotia then... I lived in Advocate Harbor and Spencer's Island, I can tell you about a couple of ghost that live there...

  • @Kypooh2 I live in Alberta. I don't hear of too many ghosts here. A few, but not many. Nova Scotia has been settled for a lot longer than Alberta, right?

  • @Kypooh2Maybe it's just the people I live with.

  • Like the saying goes; whatever you send out, you get back times three! an important factor in wicca.

    Be safe, be good.

  • So much bloodshed was spilt on the British Isles over thousands of years its hardly suprising the place is full of the dead walking...

Gives me the creeps just thinking about what happened to me in Rye East Sussex, it will live with me forever.

  • what happened..did u had an exp ?

  • My partner and I went for a long weekend to Rye in East Sussex right on the coast it was a hot bed in the 17th century for smuggling.

We stayed at the Mermaid Inn and I saw something early in the morning that will stay with me until the day I die and it was def not of this world. A woman was standing in the doorway inside our room looking towards the window and then turned her head towards me and just stared I don't mind telling you I was petrified.

  • omg..must have been a very terrifying exp..

  • Oo I love the Brian Eno music at 9:30

  • OOOOHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! LOVE documentaries like this.....Thank you SO much for putting this up...I know what I'm watching now!

  • @bouncysmile nah, you'd be fine. Ghosts never hurt anyone. I've stayed in lots of haunted castles and manor houses and hotels!

  • @bouncysmile gah same ;n;

  • @bouncysmile i was with a paranormal society in uk and some of the things u see and hear is unexplainable by conventional means or logic.

  • @bouncysmile you can hold my hand ;)

  • Charleville Castle is so beautiful!

  • Yes! I stayed in a haunted hotel in Charleston South Carolina and it was great!
