You have obviously never seen a real HD video stream before, just because it is encoded in a HD format doesn't mean it is full quality. The kind of hardware and software needed to capture and encode a true HD stream and get it on youtube isn't going to be in the possession of your average Demon's Souls video maker. from what I read on their wiki, its kind of open world.. there are five worlds + the nexus ( safespot ) when you're in one of the worlds, youre free to go around but some areas will be closed depending on your tendency ( alignment ) And some will be closed until you beat a certain boss. It is mostly dungeon crawling but some outdoors are there too just not many areas are like that. And considering this is the hardest motherfucker coming to ps3, it'll take hours.. replayability is awesome too
and by replayability, I mean depending on your tendency, different events will appear in the game, theres 10 classes to chose, and theres alternate ending... so its really interesting :P

This game is so freaking great!! I just got my imported asian copy which has english voice and text, only the manual is in chinese. Atlus has announced to bring this game over in the fall... so people you guys need to buy this epic game!
There are a number of websites that will ship the game over to the US. Just make sure to get the asian version of the game or it wont have the english voice and subs. Or you could just wait for atlus to release the localized version.

This game looks awesome, but ive been trying to find some more info on it.
1 is it open ended like elder scrolls or more linear like enchanted arms?
2 is it mostly dungeon crawlnig or are the outdoor environments too?
3 about how many hours would it take to play through the main questline/storyline?

It's completely built for different view points. Yes, I know you can go 3rd person in Oblivion. But it's built as a 1st person RPG.
This is also a JRPG. Much harder, too.
