The reason why weeks didn't stop the fight for Corrales and why he did for Castillo is because, although Corrales was hurt, he never stopped punching back and he never stopped defending himself. Castillo was in so much trouble that he couldn't get his gloves up anymore to protect his face. If Castillo wants to stay in that fight, he should have hit the canvas and took a break like Corrales did for his second knockdown.

Anybody who criticizes Weeks for stopping that fight should stick to watching the UFC.

Weeks saved Castillo's life by stepping in when he did. As far as Corrales "cheating," Castillo was the one who didn't bother making weight in the rematch or the third fight (which was cancelled) At least Corrales never defrauded the fans.
