I got all teary-eyed when Grace died. I wasn't exactly fond of her at first, but as the movie progress and her relationship with Jake improved (seeing them acting like mother and son was touching), she went on to be one of my favorite characters.

My husband took me to see Avatar last night and I was totally blown away by this film. Sigourney Weaver's performance as the scientist Grace was absolutely believable. I cannot believe it, but I can see that this film will be awarded so many oscars this year and I really hope that Sigourney Weaver will take one.

I saw Avatar, and even if it was only in 2D it was still Awesome, with a capital "A". I wanted to see it, nay, experience it in 3D but I wear prescription eyeglass (can't wear contact lenses) and the last time I tried using both prescription eyeglasses and 3d eyeglasses to watch a 3D movie I had a terrible headache, felt nauseated and had to go to the restroom to throw up. I wish they would standardized this 3D thing so people who need prescription eyeglasses could get prescription 3D eyeglasses

I wear glasses and I watched it in "RealD" 3d. The glasses fit right over my glasses and it was no problem. Way better than wearing contacts, which arent as comfortable or clear (or even the perfect prescription).

There are very few movies released that I wouldn't watch a cam of or download online. This is one of them.

It's by and far the most visually aresting movie I have ever watched. If you watch a cam of this you will lose at least 50% of the experience.

Do yourself a favor and watch it in theatres, if possible, watch it in 3-D. I've seen it twice. It is worth _every penny_!

Sigourney has a great role in it, Love her character but I wanted her to be more present, and to have more scene which shares her relationship with the Na'vis (Actually in the movie, there are only photographs that shows it and a scene of her "come back" to the tribu) I was so frustrated... :-( Maybe the director wanted us to imagine what had happened before Jake Sully appears)

Yeah there is a list of Na' vi words that translates into english. It currently has a vocabulary of 1000 words or so. But the thing is the creator didn't reveal the grammar for Na'vi so you're gonna have to try ad find it out on your own. Pronounciation is also complicated so you'll have to wait for either the dvd or someone who has mastered Na'vi to get the correct sounds.
