This sync could be improved drastically by paying attention to the way the anime users her left leg. There are many points where the anime simply bends her knee, twists her leg, and raises her foot onto the toe. But the girl tries to achieve the same posture and pose with her leg straight and knee locked, and must swing her hip far to one side to sort of match the anime. It compounds her difficulty in moving to the next set of moves and makes her dancing more exaggerated and less fluid.

This of course leads to all sorts of creative uses of masks types.
