A face is a good guy who allows interaction with the crowd or the camera or anyone else but the person himself. Faces are intended to have the audience cheer for him. But for a babyface not much interaction with a third-party is needed. No major change is developed with a babyface in order for the person to not be hated by the audience. One could argue Randy Orton is a tweener who is neither a bad/good guy (an inbetweener)
