It's asking for trouble to leave the ETT so long, should have used a S-facing RAE and tucked it down to the R to keep it out of the way.

I am a 30 years old and my Tongue is short and it caused me lots of problem in life since I am not able to pronounce the word ( R ) since My Tongue cannot roll back and touch top of my mouth so i can say the word (R ) does any one know which city this Dr is from

they just did this to my son and hes doing fine they gassed him snipped him and it looks like they used the hot iron thingy on it too to make sure they tissue didnt heal back!! he had not been able to use a sippy before and right after they freed his tounge they handed him one...he was drinking from a sippy when they brought him back to me and hes able to say things he was haveint trouble with!! and hes so happy about it too he even will show you under his lil tounge!!

i got the surgery done when i was 15. they had me awake during the whole surgery i cried like two times cause the numbing stuff started to stop working and started to hurt and i cried after it too lol im a big baby. it took like 2 hours for the surgery and i had like 17 stiches... but i got to have popciculs during school =] cause of the swelling =]
