I stayed at shack 58 when I was there, I walked around the whole island a few times and it was by far the best accommodations available. But on an island as peaceful as gili meno it doesn't matter where you stay. Maybe one day I'll be back there
Gili Meno is a wonderful island, between Bali and Lombok. One of the best place on the island is called TaoKombo, just 80 m from the main beach. You can check their website at tao-kombo
That first resort you showed has been completely abandoned, we were there in november, the pool has plants and rain water in it. It shut down after the second bali bombings. It is a beautiful island and i wish i could go back!
@oil4life80 That resort was called Gazebo Meno, it used to be one of the better resorts on the island, I have stayed there a few times. What a shame that it is closed now. But indeed, one could see that it was gradually running down. The last time I stayed there was in 2009. Gili Meno is great. I plan to go back in september this year.
my favorite accommodation in gili meno is the bugi beach.... a small chalet just before sunset gecko.... ^^
