@marank51 I guess then Next time you and your smart 6 year old come up and get it done !!! For some random comment like yours ,it just shows you have NO idea what you are talking about. You where NOT there !
@spoedfreak No i wasnt there, your right! But i have lots of experiance with wet sand soils. A truck with small hard tyers sinks like the titanic. try to stay on top or get al longer cable.
We were going to seed spring wheat. The soil is sandy there, with clay not to far down. We didn't get any crop in this year because of the moisture.
Yes the sprayer was empty, and the winch truck, we thought would pull it, but it didn't work so well! We tried many different things before we got everything out!
Thanks for the nice comments! I'm not sure about the fun, since it took 18 days to finally get it out! Lots of rain slowed the process!! But it was great nothing got hurt!
Thank you for the nice comments! Not sure about the fun, it took 18 days to finally get it out between all the rains!! But it was fun that nothing was hurt!
i feel your pain we ended up getting our 8120 stuck and tryed to pull it with our 8410 and got that stuck so our freind had to get both of his 9520's out to pull both our tractors out we had one 9520 up on the highland and one ahead of that so it took 1 week to get all that done, o-well i geuss thats the way life works good vid.
@TheJohndeere8120 i am sorry you had to go through all of that! it can be discouraging, wondering if the equipment will all be ok. thanks for the comment!
Groceries are too fuckin cheap I say!! pay farmers all the money they want!!! who else would or could do this type of sweat ur ass off ball busting work
Was this a one day nightmare or did it take a couple days? Your video gave me bad flash backs of a job where we had 7 pieces of iron stuck at one point, longest day of my life
@2009deerejohn It took 18 days before we got everything out! It rained 3" the first night of the sprayer getting stuck. So it was a waiting game, then throughout the 18 days we went back with different plans and equipment between more rains!!
that looks like a good field to stay out of for awhile. eastern north dakota has also had plenty of rain...but not quite that much! the soil in the red river valley gets really gooey also. tough on equipment getting stuck like that!
Wow, major effort. Quite a few times I had to switch my attention back from the landscape to the equipment-- the scenery is so beautiful. From the Red River valley on the east end to the badlands on the west and everything in between ND has a special kind of beauty that only the northern plains possess. I envy you living there.
@divem0re i wished i could, i am so sorry about the dry weather down there. You have dry weather, and we had so much rain, we couldn't even get a crop in.
I feel for you guys got my 8130 stuck while sidedressing and while not near as bad we had so much mud pushed up that we ended up breaking the steps off the tractor and then ended up getting a mini excatator in to dig it out as the ground was so soft it would not support any thing else.

I'm assuming it's black cotton soil? Just out if interest, what grows in a field with that sort of soil content that the mud gets so sticky?
Was the contents of the sprayer emptied to bring the weight down?
Oh, and why was that recovery truck there? Doesn't look like it helped much, in fact, to the contrary...
