But in a country like US, people do not rely on trains to get from pt A to pt B. They just fly. The network density of trains in India makes them difficult to run at higher speeds, atleast to the limit of what they are capable of. I believe that this is not the case in India or esewhere for that matter. Even Europe has good n/w.
