This is one of my favourite CT song, ever, together with Taxman, He's A Whore, I Can't Take it , Heaven's Falling, I Love You Honey But I Hate your Friends, Anytime, Gonna Raise Hell, Heaven Tonight, Speak Now.., and Downed.

I love Robin's voice and I really like the way he sometimes balances on the edge of singing out of tune, same goes for Rick's guitarplaying. It sounds adventurous and dangerous at the same time, yet loose. I think that's very cool.

Not enough material from this tour. Only this and edited "Chicago fest" show. Those songs deserve more exposue! I still remeber the Lights/power going out New Year's eve after first song "Stop This Game" in LA !

This is from their appearance on "Saturday NIght Live" in early 1981, I believe. That was probably the worst season of SNL ever---Gilbert Gottfried, Gail Matthius, Charles Rocket---ugh! Fortunately, Cheap Trick delivered a great performance, as usual!

One of my favorite songs off my favorite albums "All Shook Up."-Very obscure. My very first concert -Feb.'81 with Pete Comita playin' that same bass... I'd give anything to have that 12-string zig-zag zebra explorer bass!

Me as well. I used to just hear "I Want You to Want Me", the live version, on the radio, and thought that the same band did "Baby I Love Your Way" and "Do You Feel Like We Do". Oops.

This is a rare clip with Pete Comita on bass. He was with the band only a short time. Then I think he went with a band called USSA with Cliff Johnson who was the lead singer for a band called Off Broadway which had a few hits back in the 80's. Now Cliff is back with Off Broadway, and they still play clubs around Chicago. I don't know what ever happened to Pete Comita. He played good bass and had good stage presence.

That was from SNL. I remember staying up to watch that on as a kid. Karen Black was the Host, and if I recall, Stanley Clarke also did a 3d musical number.

This is incredible. I have watched SNL for years and never seen this episode. I even watched the old reruns when they used to lay them. As for the groups on SNL these days watch tomorrow night. Green Day will be on and they are awesome.

This is from the infamous 1981 season of SNL. It's considered one of the worst. Gilbert Gottfried was in the cast I believe. I remember SCTV was doing well and I saw magazine stories saying that they should replace SNL. They Got Eddie Murphy and a new cast the next year I believe and it got bood again.

This is a bright spot in a otherwise dismall season.

Have you watched any new episodes of SNL lately? Remember, Cheap Trick can actually sing and play their instruments. Only truly talented people like Ashlee Simpson who mime to tapes can perform on SNL these days.

Great clip. It is hard to tell if that is Tom Peterson on bass, or the guy who replaced him. They looked so much alike. The scream at the end always reminded me of Jim Morrison.
