While I have always enjoyed your videos and they have helped our guild many times when getting to the tougher bosses this strat in particular was tried for almost 2 weeks with frustrating results. Moving to the group up (ignore barrages) all 10 in for onslaught strat worked and got a kill after about 3 hours. With this strat you must have enough ranged to kill drakes without melees help but worked amazingly. (5%nerf)

Hey, thanks for the fantastic guide! I have a quick question regarding when your raid chose to use bloodlust in the video. It looks like you guys use it on the last onslaught that you get before phase 2 begins. Is there any reason in particular that you use it here, and not when Goriona lands, for instance? Was this planned in order to clip the last onslaught/push phase 2? And if so, is this something that you felt was important to do/why?

@jester92803 Exactly; we found our DPS on the melee adds was too low on that third set (if killing drakes asap), which meant the melee adds could be alive when the boss drops, which is far from ideal due to Charge in combination with the void zones. Thus we lusted to burn the melee adds as the phase transition hits.

These days with the % debuffs, the ship health is more stable so you can easily leave the 6th drake alive for a long while to cleanup melee adds, then lust for the dragon.

Our raid comp is extremely similar to yours on Borean Tundra...and i can definitely attest that us downing 3 more heroic bosses in the last 2 weeks was largely because of how clear ur vids are. I didn't see a graphic for the thing that goriona rams the ship, is there one? or do you just see the ship's health deplete? Also, got any mana conservation tips for 2 healing? I'm a resto shaman (I know it might not carry over exactly) two healing with a pally or druid and I feel like I'm having mana problems (maybe it's the class qq)

@nrathbon1 Yes, there's a graphic and an emote for Broadside.

For healer mana, I found it best to stack full Spirit reforging (which I normally avoid) and worry less about burst HPS and more about sustaining. Healing on this fight seems binary, in that either people are mostly full health or they're going to die if they take another hit. Generally that extra hit is up to the player to avoid (i.e. a barrage/charge they should avoid) and thus more spell power for you likely won't save them.
