  • @dohminica you can actually switch the part to your liking that's the beauty of a 3/4 wig

  • you have given me so any ideas

    thank you !!!!!

  • Really good job mama I am impressed!

  • how did u re-enforce?

  • even though you glued it cant you just go back and and sew in the tracks later when i did it it was an extra step but at least i went back and sewn it so it would last do the sewing when you have time

  • Quick tip: you can stop the unravelling by purchasing any fray stopper in the sewing section of Wal-mart or any craft store. It's cheap, easy, less time-consuming and soesn't leave any bumps around the edge of the cap. You can also apply it to the wefts to reduce shedding (for those like me who hate spending beaucoup bucks on hair, but don't want embarrassing mishaps either.) Hope this helps!

  • what kind of cap did you use

  • why didnt you use a foam head

  • @mimibankole91 for a perfect fit!

  • Hi do u think I can do this same technique using straight hair with a side part instead of curly with a middle part?

  • hey, what i was wondering is do u think it would be as easy doing a 3/4 side part wig with straight hair?

  • overall what would u say about the companys hair? is it worth the money? is it good hair?!

  • Where did you get your wig cap?

  • @mrsyvonne99 sally's sells this cap

  • perfect if u decide to start making the wig clips around the web let me know

  • @MSCHANDA DO YOU THINK THIS WOULD WORK WITH STRAIGHT HAIR OR WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO SEE THE CLIPS? AND WHEN U GLUED THE TRACKS DID THE WIG LAST LONG?

  • When your daughter says, "WOW" @2:26 I see why you laughed that was so cute. Keep up the excellent work. Love the wigs and weaves. I will be trying soon. Thanx for the vids.

  • OMG...I LOVE!!! I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT THIS TECHNIQUE THIS WEEKEND BUT I THINK I WILL DO I FULL WIG *I HAVE KEPT MY HAIR SHORT AND NATURAL FOR THE PAST 5 YEARS*...WISH ME LUCK!!! *FINGERS CROSSED*

  • you can def use a styro head. it makes it soooo much easier. and the cap is stretchy so it should not be a prob when you put it on.

  • if i use a styrofoam head do you think it fit? well fit me when done? btw i have a bighead

  • @chrissy0129 i have a bigger head so i use a styrofoam head but leave small gaps inbetween sewing on each stretchy strap of the cap so theres room for my head once i put it on. if you have a big head and fit the tracks exactly to the styrofoam head the wig will be too tight once you try it on.

  • @barbiedefined oh thanks i understand what you saying. ok can i do this with straight hair or would it look too bulky?

  • @chrissy0129 you sure can. ive done it with both straight and curly hair. good luck girlie :)

  • Great job! Thx for taking the time to show how you make this wig.You have save me alot of money and time.

  • You are very talented, I never would have thought of that idea, I am so glad I found your channel, i am learning alot about doing hair. Thanx.:)

  • P.S., a Styrofoam head would have been a lot easier!

  • That cap idea was really ingenious! Excellent, I will be copying! LOL :-p

  • I make these too! I actually like them better then doing sew ins becuz u can take them on and off to get to ur natural hair...I sew mine on my mannequin tho...pretty hair!

  • You are a freaking geinus!!!!!

  • you are amazing omg

  • MsChanda can you please show me how u traced and cut the cap. I got an idea but I wanna make sure I do it right. Ima be doing this soon!!

  • Wow now this is talent only from mschanda

  • Your natural hair is growing really good

  • This is sooo creative..I'm going to try that as well and see how its going to work for me...love this

  • Once again you've worked your magic. I will be making me one soon, thx and stay blessed.

  • i love this ideal i am going to use it i hope it works for me also

  • Girl you hair has grown beautifully

  • I like the way you did this Omega wig.I think I would want to sew it to net for it to last longer..but in the futire still use this technique as a quick half wig.I like how it turned out!Have you seen the review on missdivalike with her full lace from RPGShow.com.I think you would like it!

  • I see Ms. C you getting back into the yt groove. Glad you are feeling better..

  • you should use th slide in come next time, i used thoes snap clips and they KILLED my edges...

  • That looks like an Omega Part Half Wig.

  • half a wing? u mean. im def going to do this and put up a vid

  • If it were not for you my hair would be jacked up! Thank you so much for taking the time to help so many! Great job as usual!

  • im confused, didnt you have the shower cap on when you glued it together? how did you get the shower cap from under it and keep it like a weave with just the clips?

  • I've always wanted 2 wear weave but was 2 afraid that it would ruin my hair. Now, thanks 2 u, I can wear weave w/out damaging my hair & I can do it myself without havin 2 pay a ton at the beauty salon. Thanks so much 4 adding this video. It is 1 of my favorites now.

  • @MsChanda I think you were trying to think of the omega part wigs.

  • nice video i wanted to know do you know if it would work if i sew it on a manequin head and cut it at the end instead of cutting it first like you did...get what i mean?

  • Amazing... I will be doing this..... Soon.....

  • wat did you do to the edges of the sewing cap to keep it frm fallin apart

  • Chanda, thats a great technique gots to try it

  • Lol, I glued it! I use to make my own wigs about 5 years ago. This makes me want to try again with jerry curl hair using some of your techniques! Thanks for sharing!

  • i love how it came out, I think i might actually do that one day

  • Ms.Chanda did you relaxed your hair? Or did you flat iron your hair?

  • @cocolish07 she doesnt perm. so flat iron

  • Ms Chanda your the best I've have watched just about your videos and will deffently trying that one.

  • Looks great! I'm going to try to make something like this.

  • @kglamzstyle yea she makes it jus how chanda does excepts she sews the perimiter down after she finishes it.. the vid is up for it..

  • Good idea! I can use this because I can't wear a regular quick weave, thanks!

  • have you ever thought about going natural?

  • @SuperThickRealShit I believe she is natural =]

  • @NaturallyTati it does not look so!

  • @SuperThickRealShit on her straightening video a month ago the description box says that she doesn't relax

  • @NaturallyTati oh i see. : )

  • @SuperThickRealShit I think she was up until about a month or so ago...

  • @Brinal1 it would be great if she did

  • That was such a super cool idea I'm going to try it with straight hair

  • amazing. you are so talented and u are my weaving role model lol

  • Great job as usual!!

  • This is great Chanda!

  • love this ! it kinda reminds me of xxtheislandbeautyxx 's quick weave system - except she sew's hers like u started to but im soo happy u glued it b/c now i know it works both ways!

  • @iamfierce08 yeah i was thinking of the same guru too. she said she has now perfected it without the wire so that should be interesting.

  • i love it...i think making your own wig is such a good idea...and i dont blame you for glue bonding this hair....that sew in would have been a lot of work...lol

  • The hair is very pretty. Thanks for sharing your technique with the cap, i am transitioning and this could be a protective style that i could do.

  • that looks great. i did the same thing with a different type of hair. i did one with the net sewing cap and sewed the hair in but i found that it didnt stretch and give like i wanted it to so i when i took it off. so on the next one i did i used glue and a wave cap intsead of a wig cap or sewing net and mine looked pretty good.

  • did you glue or sew it? If so, why did you need a plastic cap ?

  • U INSPIRE ME....... U GO GURL:-D

  • your a genius I want to be able to be like you in the future, and I need some help Im doing a quick weave for a friend but she wants wet an wavy with straight bangs this is the first time im doing this on someone else's head other then my own on head any tips?

  • your daughter is so sweet.

  • very cute chanda

  • Its cute. Its not my favorit style for you but its still cute. Love your vids!

  • Very Pretty.
