Ovechkin is a finisher. Crosby is a franchise centre-piece playmaker. If we're losing 1-0, with a minute left, I'm pulling my goalie and dumping Ovechkin out there. But if I only get one, I'm taking Crosby - he makes everyone around him better. Plus Ovechkin's physical and speed game is gonna burn out faster than Crosby's passes and cycling game. Crosby will keep the Pens winning for longer than Ovechkin could keep the Caps.
