  • @t0asty89 "oh yeah" Your an idiot and "oh yeah" you have no clue what good work is, so go back to playing video games in your moms basement " oh yeah" you fuckin idiot piece of shit....."oh yeah" I almost forgot, "oh yeah" you dont know how to read, so never mind "oh yeah" "oh yeah" "oh yeah" Am I fucking annoying you yet? "oh yeah" "oh yeah" I hope so....."oh yeah" fuck I hate keyboard critics "oh yeah" I do

  • @lakerdrinker Keyboard critic? Because i dont know him. If i new him i would say the same things to him in person. But im on the other side of the world so theres nothing i can do.

What, you want me to travel to his house to ask him why he didnt use some spray?

  • @t0asty89 your a complete jerk,if you do not agree with the way pisser does his work, then why watch the videos, and complain about it???? Kinda funny tho' thousands of people get work done by him,and no complaints, his work is immaculate, and OH YEAH,think you can do better, post a video buddy :)

  • JOB WELL DONE !!!!!

  • wouldnt you wanna cut it even with no over lap to mig in on like more of a butt weld .....if you are using a gassless welder I guess I could see why you over lapp ????

  • nice video !!! thanx to you Shawn and the whole you-tube garage it has enabled me to get into this trade and as you know every trade has it's secrets !!! I just wish I could give back by walking you thru a transmission rebuild or an engine build :( thanx again Shawn

  • @t0asty89 i do what i get paid to do..as the old saying goes..ya get what ya pay for!

  • @pisserschannel If the customer saw this video she would want her money back. And they certainly wouldnt have asked you to do it if they saw this video before hand.

  • @t0asty89 Look at some of his more recent videos, He can do perfect work if the customer pays him to or he can bang out a quick rust patch to make the car look pretty for a year or so until the upstate New York salt rusts another hole in the vehicle.

  • @t0asty89 Cool Story Bro... u MAd?

  • @t0asty89 GET BENT !!!!!!

  • @t0asty89 I ALWAYS TACK WITHOUT A SHEILD ,,,, CLOSE YOUR EYES MAN .....WE ARE MEN !

  • @SRVjediknight I got mild Arc Eye last year. Nearly lost my job and my sight.

Its not a good thing to do and if he wants to do that then fine. But not on an instructional video.

  • No need to fix the original problem... the reason why it rusted in the first place!

  • Comment removed

  • LOL this guy works with that metal and cutter like a 1st grader works with scissors and construction paper I love it. Gloves for the butt welder psh! no don't need em This is so bad ass!!

  • Great video , and useful comment on here to! Im going to have to do this on my 47 Ford truck , I have quite a bit of rust I need to fix and this will come in handy.

  • what welder are you using?

  • Great video! Much appreciated. Oh yeah - RUUUST!

  • Your pretty cool man, been learnin a lot from you.

  • OH YEAH!!!

  • watching this wants me to fix all the rust on my 95 civic

  • if you really wanted to do it right. you should cut out that inner piece and support it with a rod

  • i love the sound of sheers

  • oooooooooooooooohhh YES!!!!

  • It's a good video but why are you not wearing a welding mask and protective clothing when welding?

  • Hey buddy I just found your channel I own a body shop in windsor on.

  • @windsorman1000 sweet man

  • Could have sealed up the openings that caused the problem in the first place. What if you started by first shaping and attaching the new metal over the affected area, then cut through both the new and old metal in 1 step to create a nearly perfect patch to weld back in?

  • What products are you using ?

  • lol at the random lord of the rings tags and RROD rlated tags hah

  • my 60 fairlane uses 16 gauge .thumbs upp . nice stuff to work with.

  • oh ya!

  • great video!!!!!!!!. but beware of the wolf!!!!! you're not using either goggles or dust masks.... oh, and what about gloves... think of your health man... we want to have you alive for giving us such good videos in the future... bye and take care...

  • damn it ifeel like im getting a tooth filling with the sound of that cut off wheel

Hack and Pack autobody and dental

  • where is your welding helmet???

  • Su em like that, OH YEAH

  • this guy is sooo fokin kool... ohhh yea. fok safety right

  • EERRUST! OH YEAH!

  • i don't know why u don't put a damn dust mask on your face, dude u don't even know what can do that damn puty dust can do and it's very dangerous to your health when you breath all that dust, best advice i can tell you is go buy a damn dust mask and use it, poor nose,

  • Hey Pisser, I notice you overlap your metal patches. Butt welding them in is the best way. Also you should primer the insides once the rust is cut away plus primer the back side of the metal patch. (use weld-thru primer) Great videos by the way, so keep them coming.

  • @9misuraco6 I love Pissers videos but I agree with you there. Another thing that gets me talking to him on screen whilst watching is when he cuts out the holes. I wish He'd cut further into the grot, e.g. on that panel he's doing here. If only he could of cut an extra two inches of the top of the hole. it's quite clearly blistered above where he cut to. Anyway a great channel.

  • @9misuraco6 Another thing, because he doesn't form the metal, it is basically under tension and is only held round the curve at the bottom because the weld is holding there but the metal that it's welded to is only a thin and rusty strip meaning it's liable to rust further and spring out in the future.

  • @macspud28 I just seen the truck the other day,it was in for service..its holding up well so far..and keep in mind,it wasnt a $500 job,it was a $250 job. Ya get what ya pay for

  • @pisserschannel Aye you're right there, just being a bit of a back seat driver. As long as the guy who bought it paid for what he got, I know you're doing things on a budget but I'd like to see your dealer pay you a bit extra to go that bit further, he is trying to build himself a good name after all. Having said that if everyone (yourself, the dealer and the customers) are happy with the deals the way they stand then fair enough.

  • @pisserschannel I just hate creeping rust which is what happens here on the west coast of the Highlands of Scotland where it rains a lot of the time, in winter the roads are salted and the air is always full of salt from the wind and gales blowing in of the sea

  • Safety first, Mr..

  • where do you get the sheet metal at?

great video too keep em coming

  • @dman6995 I get mine from my neighbor between 2-5 am.

  • No ear or eye protection?

  • Thanks Man! Great video! Going to try that on my 240sx.. Rusted floor in the trunk and some rust on the panels

  • Oh Yeah... Oh Yeah

  • I grew up around Chicago and moved to Alabama 13yrs ago and let me tell ya i don't miss the rusty ass vehicles !!! nothing Rusts here...

  • Dude your bad as me welding with no helmet..lol

  • Great how to video. Thanks for the upload. I have a 2000 Kia Sephia that needs some wheel well restoration. Its going to be a little more difficult cause of the curvature but this defiantly helps. Thanks again.

  • As good as most of Your videos are. You're working without gloves, respirator (or at least a dust mask), protective glasses or earplugs. Thats bad example there. If you prefer NOT use any protection when doing metal/ paint work. You could at least put some warning or subtitles in the beginning of the video that people should see

  • Great videos!

Looks like the exhaust gases which are full of acidic water vapour eventually found their way into this box section. Do all these vans rust out in the same place?

  • you found me

  • Thanks for the video , mine is a 2000 Sub 2500 with pin holes and regular filler over the tiny holes . Paint is bubbling in the same areas on your repairs. Indigo blue oh and RRRust !

  • curious...why make the panel larger than cut out..shouldn't it be slightly smaller to avoid the overalp? isn't it better to keep things flush?

  • @backwaterdogs that's how I do it

  • No wonder this guy wears glasses lol..

  • Oh yeah.....So thats what happened to Drew Carey. Oh yeah!!!!

  • Oh yeah,,,and Smoking and sanding and grinding...no respirator...can you say ...Chemo? Oh Yeah!

How bout some ospho on the rust in the interior parts instead of just slamming panels on top of all the cancer inside...oh yeah...

  • Oh yeah,,,and Smoking and sanding and grinding...no respirator...can you say ...Chemo? Oh Yeah!

  • Oh Yeah!

  • Great Video.Great welding .

  • @coldpak82 thanks

  • @pisserschannel you doing such a great job mate, but you need to start using a mask and stop smoking , hopefully you don't want nobody to do it to you what you're doing to those trucks ?

    Good luck

  • Why didn't you use anti-rust chemicals on the metal around the cut-out with a before welding in the new sheet?

  • can you tell me if you think this compressor will get er done for me on sanding prming and and painting and all that good stuff!

    Air delivery: 12.8 CFM @ 90 PSI, 14.5 CFM @ 40 PSI

  • @MrGurudude5 should work

  • Ok , im having a hard time finding patch pannels for the rear of my 71 monte carlo and im new to mig welding got a welder will do 22 to 3/16 metal any welding dips you can show

  • Im having a hard time finding 20gauge sheetmetal to fix a fender and quarter pannel however I did find 16 gauge do you think that's to thick for repairing with or can you advise on where to find the sheet metal?

  • @MrGurudude5 16 too thick..go to 22 guage if ya have to

  • Sorry to ask you so many basic questions. But for a newbie its important to know even the basic stuff that a pro doesn't think about anymore one again thank you!

  • @MrGurudude5 no problem

  • Cool im going to use 1.8 tip for primer and 1.4 for base coat what do you recommend?

  • @MrGurudude5 should work!

  • Well the cfm on the 20 gallon is only about a 3 think im good to paint still the sprayer I got at harbor freight says it needs 9 cfm but like I said im using basecoat no metalics

  • @MrGurudude5 you should be ok..just take your time..

  • I can use my buddies 20 gallon im going to do one pannel and one door at a time does the cfm really matter much?

  • @MrGurudude5 yes it matters..i would borrow the 20 gallon..for sure..be on the safe side

  • Is the video up yet? Actually I do have one question I have a 5 gallon compressor do you think I could spray my base coat with that just straight paint no metalics?

  • @MrGurudude5 the vid wont be up for atleast an hour..taking forever to edit..ya should be ok with a 5 gal compressor if you are just doing a panel or 2..but make sure a have constant gun pressure

  • You rock man thank you

  • @MrGurudude5 no problem..if ya need to know more..just let me know

  • Great work and thank you for doing this for all of us newbies, can I ask a big favor can you post a video, where you do a repair and from a to z like grind, duraglass, bondo, icing, block sand, base coat, clear color sand you get what I mean like lay it out first step 2nd and so on I know you do this over several videos but I think you will get a ton of views by doing that. Thanks again for all your knowledge love your work

  • @MrGurudude5 check out the vid im uploading tonite..its repairing a corvette, but its more in depth on how to!

  • can you tell me what size is the metal your using to replace with and do you use that gauge all the time, aslo what gauge will the sheers cut?

  • @MrGurudude5 usually 20 guage steel..on rockers 18 guage steel..sheers will cut 18 guage,but they struggle some

  • @pisserschannel ok im going to fix the roof should i use 18 or 20 have some dime size holes on the roof and want to use some sheet metal under the holes. what gauge do you suggest ?

  • @MrGurudude5 20 should work fine

  • Nice work. Chevy is the way to go though my 98 suburban has 340,000 on it.

  • @DIESELBOY442 damn!

  • what would I do for minor rust on the corners of my truck bed? it hasnt rusted through at all. would i just grind it all away and put body filler on? and where do you buy the metal? and how thick is the metal used?

  • @hownychea I buy the metal from a local place that sells it..if just surface rust, gring or sandblast..light amount of filler and sand

  • where u buy ur metal? can u buy the steel from like home depot or lowes??

  • @xSFU420x i buy it locally..im sure home depot or lowes may have some stuff

  • Looks like Plumbers putty used to fill the hole on that Dodge. You did a good job.

  • @penetrator55 thanks

  • snot and bondo make hard buggers.

rags and welding do not mix.

    Chevy trucks are rust buckets.

Car Co. have known that every truck ever made rusts in the wheel-wells and just wont do a damn thing about it. PLANNED OBSOLESCES and 90% recyclable. Here you are screwing things up. LOL

Maybe if more people would not fix this, the car companies would?

Your fixing hole not the problem. It will come back. Other peoples vanity makes you $. Good for you. I like paintable duct tape.

  • @cloverdale87 lol

  • im going to be doing alot of this on my E30....ALOT

  • @johnnyXsniper ohh boy! i do way too much of it..gets old

  • @pisserschannel i think i just thumbs downed ur comment ( had a drink...aimed for reply button, missed ) its a pity ur not in scotland, i woulda paid u to set work on my beemer. got it all done now but sweet jesus dude. so much rust. ur video actually gave me hope it could be repaired

  • oh yeahh......

  • @jargon113 ohhh yeah!

  • i was just curious as to how body work was done and how people fix rust and thanks to you now i know all the steps of fixing it and it actually seems pretty easy but how would you fix sharp curves? more flexible new metal?

  • @Goldtacto yes,or a few pieces of metal to form the curve

  • i have to weld a patch on my 2005 dodge durangos rocker panel of courseit rusted out should i disconnect the battery or anything ? big fan by the way from pa

  • Good trick for transferring the template outline.

  • By the way, I notice that you generally tack the replacement panel and then cover it with waterproof body filler on the front side. Do you see any value in treating the back side of the patch with something like Ospho or a weld-through primer before you install the patch?

  • Personally i would of put the metal inside and bondoed over it but what you did looked great...keep the videos commin

  • @RedneckRacing27 i usually try to do that..but it wasnt gonna be as quick to do on this one

  • @pisserschannel well i guess it dont really matter how you do it aslong as it looks good

  • @RedneckRacing27 you got it man! and he already sold the truck,,lol

  • Looking good. Keep em coming

  • @ShawnCFarm thanks man!

  • Weird stuff going on on the dodge, they did it like that cause it was fast. In and out the door in two days tops. 1 day if you can bake the primer.

They basically repaired it like a plastic bumper, but that is also why it didn't last. It is 100% crucial the material expands and contracts very closely to the steel. Two different quality metal can do the same thing.

Pisser the tripod is awesome and I also think it has improved the quality of your videos!

  • @MrAdamseye they really screwed it up...i just fixed it in 4 hours flat...vid will be up soon...but i painted it outside and it rained soon after..ya know the result....i didnt have room in the shop to keep it in...so i will pay the price of redoing it tomorrow

  • @pisserschannel Ahh fing rain never here when you need it, only when you don't. Yeah buddy those trucks are nice and as long as it was cared for should last.

  • My dads 02 ram 1500 5.9L has rust on both wheel wells...he needs to get it fixed soon. I'd definitely vouch for you to get a dodge ram, my dads is great with 119k, does have rust but you can fix that yourself so theres really nothing to worry about.

  • @GarageCrazy check out tonites vid and you will see a ram wheel well get fixed..step by step..its a long vid...gonna take forever to upload..lol

  • My dads 02 ram 1500 5.9L has rust on both wheel wells...he needs to get it fixed soon.

  • @GarageCrazy watch my vid coming out tonite...its all there for ya

  • @rttguy1969 yeah..been like that for years! they have good v8 engines..poor transmissions

  • never saw so many rust buckets

  • @rttguy1969 lol...me either

  • when you go to nappa to get paint do u give them the paint code?

  • @1984GMCmud i call it in..give them the code and pick it up in an hour

  • Good shit buddy

  • @1984GMCmud thanks man

  • I've been hoping for a video like this. I got a 1990 325i that runs great (except the starter just went out, I have to get a flex wrench to remove it) for $900 on craigslist. The only bad part on the body is one of the rear wheel wells has a little damage. I know a little welding and I'm going to get a welder for the repair as soon as I get my hands on a replacement panel from a junker. Thanks for the tips!

  • @sketchyj got any vids of the car...i love beemers

  • @pisserschannel so far it's only pictured from at the end of the video for "High Tension Wires - Backbone" in my uploads.

  • Oh yeah,,,

  • @sonoftaz your probaly rite

  • yup gotta remove all that cotton insulation..i did a repair on a chevy and it was catching on fire but luckly i had my airblower nearby so now i have a big bucket of water on standby when welding all the time learn from your mistakes
