Hate to break it to you Luclin, but that piston TFlipFlop is outdated. Jeb was jerky enough to fix it. It was actually a bug, it's true. Try it in Minecraft 1.0.0. If it wasn't a glitch, then there's a bug that makes them not work. Long story short, don't work no more.

@supermariomano it works... it not a bug, it uses a property of redstone that was there sense day 1, and that is Redstone goes threw 1 block, and it uses the pistons to move that block...

I liked the Hidden staircase, pretty basic, I could make it if I put my time to it, but I like it. I never figured that out, and the Flip Flop will be useful as all I use are Memory Cells. All in all, it shows people basic things that redstone can accomplish!

As for the T-flip flop, you could invert the signal so that right when you press it, it works, and you don't have to wait until the button's time goes off. You also don't need sticky pistons, you could use regular pistons. Thumbs up so everyone can see! =D

@flyingarticlesFG i'm only guessing here but the easiest clock is just having a notgate's output go to it's input. since that fizzles out because it blinks to fast you just add some repeaters to delay the singnal.

and i think there was a block with a sticky piston right after a repeater so you can interrupt the circuit to stop the clock

if you don't know what a clock is: it's an uneven number of notgates connected in a circle to produce a signal that repeatedly alternates between 1 and 0 status

He explains it in an easy fashion and you know what they say, the best way to learn a subject is to teach it. Can't wait to see you building seven segment displays and such.
