Romania is a beautiful place. I go to Europe every 2 yrs or so and I went there this past fall (a lot less expensive than W. Europe). I was a Marine when Romania was a communist country. I seen the revolution unfold on tv and the newspapers (no net) it is a place that needs to adjust still to democracy, but we still are and we are 234 yrs old as a democracy and we still don't have it quite right. Good people there. Genuine smiles everywhere you are greeted. Vlad saved christianity there !!!

I followed the events closely at that time and I supported the Rumanian people in their struggle against a brutal tyrant, so you won't fool me. The last years under his dictatorships were so terrible that finally the whole country took to the streets and overthrew him, nobody defended him, here in Italy even the most ardent communists condemned Ceausescu.

secondly the salary in romania is not 100 euros that was 10 years ago,now the medium salary is about 300 euros(these are official generally accepted numbers)so i think there is certantley an improvment here wouldn't you agree?

Romania is a beautiful place. I go to Europe every 2 yrs or so and I went there this past fall (a lot less expensive than W. Europe). I was a Marine when Romania was a communist country. I seen the revolution unfold on tv and the newspapers (no net) it is a place that needs to adjust still to democracy, but we still are and we are 234 yrs old as a democracy and we still don't have it quite right. Good people there. Genuine smiles everywhere you are greeted. Vlad saved christianity there !!!

I followed the events closely at that time and I supported the Rumanian people in their struggle against a brutal tyrant, so you won't fool me. The last years under his dictatorships were so terrible that finally the whole country took to the streets and overthrew him, nobody defended him, here in Italy even the most ardent communists condemned Ceausescu.

so yes i prefere this system, i prefere the fact that i can wach tv cable with 100 channels instead of waching 2h per day of proppaganda,i prefere this system so i can have aceses to internet in order to have this conversation with you.(how many ppl from north korea or cuba have you encounterd on the internet by the way?).
as a conclusion i prefere this system in order to have acces to all the confforts of western life.

that my freind is the difference betwen causescu's regime and todays system.

i personally have some freinds ho are working in other contreys because they whant to raise some money in order to start a buissnes,buy a house or whatever.i myself am planning to go to the us the get some money for a future buisness i have in mind.i don't plane to go because in romania i woldn't survive as you belive i plan to go because in romania i would earn enough just to make a living but why not go where i have the opportunity to be much better payed.don't you whant a nicer life?

The emila romagna model was exported all around the world like one of the greatest example that explained that mixed comunism and democracy is possible. So don't generalize it please... I can understand you and what do you thing about ceaucescu but don't fall in wrong saying bullshit against every kind of socialism models around the world!

Sure you are gonna say the same thing again,that he was'nt relly a communist,but ask yourself this:If you could became head of state with ABSOLUTE and COMPLETE control would you put others intrests above your owns?I think probably not,no man would,it's in our natures.You relly can't deny that ceausecu was with extreme socialists view's.

man socialism does not equal communism.I myself am a social-democrat in economic policies.And yes you are right mixed communism and democracy is possible(look at China were there is a communist political regime but the economic system is very flexible).But you cannot say that ceausecu was'n a communist,because he was in the party even in the 30's or so when the party was illegal in Romania,and while he was in power he did all thouse horrible things in the name of communism.

Your sentence is more authoritative then mine because you live the experience of the Ceaucescu tiranny. But I disagree with you when you say that him makes every his mistake in the name of Comunism. Collectivization... This is comunism... The possbility that people can cooperate with the intention to produce wealth for him and for the society.

But it doesn't work when people that forget the mean of comunism use the power only for personal interests... Forgetting the wealth of the worker class like it happened in Romania and in other states. It's inaccettable but I want to say again that this isn't comunism for me.
You ask to me what I'll do if I'll become head of state... Well I think that i'll work for the wealth of the good people, making their interests...

Now only few country do it. Not in Italy, not in Romania just for example. In your country the worker class doesn't have sindacaly power and have salaries like 100/200 €. How does it possible? Where is the difference between the Ceaucescu's bread card and salary that forcing you in poverty? How is possible that people that have studied your country and are doctors or economist must came in Italy to clean our not-indipendend-old-lady ass?

Sorry but I can't see the difference betwen the Ceaucescu era that you explain to me and the post-revolution-era where do you live. I think that the revolution is not complete... But I think that someone that should do your interests prefer the apparency of the coca-cola's freedom model... Do you like it?

i tinnk that perhaps you are a little missinformed my freind.first of all sindicaly power exists in romania,maybe not as strong as italy but it exists.many major strikes have been known to occure in our contry in the past 18 years but perhaps the italian televisions don't botter showing them(perfectley undarstandeble)

secondly the salary in romania is not 100 euros that was 10 years ago,now the medium salary is about 300 euros(these are official generally accepted numbers)so i think there is certantley an improvment here wouldn't you agree?

and forth collectivisation existed in romania during ceausescu's era and it was part of the reason the people starved to death,because it was an inefficent system.

also you asked me if i like 'the apparency of the coca-cola's freedom model' as you'v named it and my answer is yes i do.and you know why? because i prefere to drink coca-cola then to not drink anything att all.because in the 80's when i was a kid i didn't have coca-cola,i didn't have milka,i didn't have action-figures or whatever,i didn't have anything a child would normaly have.and i don't whant that for anybody.

ceaucescu wasn't a comunist... he only was a fuckin'bastard that use the term comunism or socialism only for his own interests.
I come from Italy, the importance of comunist party in the road to democracy after benito mussolini's regime is in the story books.
