@replacementkillah Yeah he gave him a vision of Hell..as Hell is defined in some culture as a place where you relieve your guilt for eternity...And chapel begged to end his torments but Spawn as sadistic as he is gave him a fate worse that Death....which drove Chapel insane...Classic

Chapel's character is weird. In the first time we see him it appears he's feeling some sort of guilt and remorse for killing AL(even uttering "IM SORRY....IM SOOOOOORRY!!!!!" when he caught a flashback of killing Simmons while fucking that prostitue). But then he switches dramatically like he could give a fuck less about it...strange...or maybe complex *shrugs*

@SageofSorrow it was him showing a little bit of the guilt and pain that he was denying. my thought is that all his life he's always had to show he felt nothing when he killed. what spawn did was take away his ability to keep denying it, and now he's insane.
