its all about teams. in my opinion, Iverson would be better than kobe (in terms of skills - based on size as well alone. ) BUT obviously teams is what it comes down to. You can't compare Kobe to Carter directly because there's just wayy to many factors that are present - ex the point guard, the team's style of play, the coach, etc. So you can never really say kobe is better. Im sure if VC was in la and kobe was in TO, there would be a low chance of to getting a ring. VC tho is GOAT dunker. :)

@GuyanezeComedy well, when kobe had a bad team in 2005-06, he averaged 35.4 PPG, while VC career high in points is above 27. So, in my opinion Kobe is better when it comes to individual playing. Although, I think Vince was better from 1998-2002, because he was a team leader and had only a decent team, while kobe, as you said before, had Shaq, Rice, Shaw, Horry and others.
@Sly5man See the reason I think Carter is better, is because he always played with a good PG, so he never really dominated the ball as other stars did such as Jordan, Kobe, Lebron, Wade, etc. There is no way Jason Kidd or Mark Jackson let any player start chucking, unless there hot from the floor. The video seems to be about dunks only so if that is the case, it's not even close. Vince is by far the better dunker and probably the best dunker the NBA has ever had, Probably. I think it's pretty clear who the better player is. It's not even worth mentioning.

@mikenotnumber1 considering Jordan won titles without them, I still disagree, I'm stating Jordan is better because of his titles, but more so him as an individual player, his technique as a player, his shot, his playing ability, the fact that Jordan has 5 MVP's, 10 scoring titles, he's one of the few guards with a Defensive Player of the Year, Kobe getting 6 rings, will not help him look better than Jordan, Kobe will go down as #2, maybe some years down the line someone else will be considered

@mikenotnumber1 considering Divac had perrenial players around him as well, with LA Magic and Worthy, and with Sacramento he was with Bibby, Peja, and Webber, though he has no title, he was overshadowed, so he played more of the role, I'll even rephrase he might be one of the top ten role big men, you named mostly stars, but some of those are debatable because of his surrounding, thats just like JJ Hirkson if Lebron was still there he wouldn't be doing anything.

Vince could have gave Kobe a run if he wasn't injury prone. If he wasn't, Vince could have collected a couple of rings, he was on play-off contenders who were NBA finals ready, but he was unable to give his full potential. Uh considering Vince came into the league before Lebron and Wade, then no shit he's gonna be compared to Jordan first. Is that how it's defined now? A player is better than another if they're first to be compared to Jordan? Freakin' Jerry Stackhouse was compared to Jordan first.

If vince can dunk from the 3 point line then he would be better! Vince is a natural athlete high jumps, long wingspand! But kobe works so hard to get were he is at he is better hands down when the games on the line with 2 seconds to go who do you want to have the ball in their hands to shoot the final shot! vince or kobe? i think KOBE

people forget how good Kobe is defensively. He's been on the NBA All Defensive team 9 times. Vince has never even sniffed the 1st or 2nd NBA All defensive teams
