Thanks for posting. I remember listening to a feature on the Band of Holy Joy on CBC Stereo back in about '88. After they played this song it was explained that part of the inspiration for this song was a friend of Johny Brown who always had insomnia and who would frequently phone Johny up and try to convince him to come and play 'the machines' with him. A great song.
