This building had a very very large thermal mass, meaning it would have needed large 40 foot bright spectrum well combusted open flame to even imagine getting the effect we see in the collapse videos. Each floor was approx 43,000 sq ft. In the North Tower 6 floors were impacted, and several other floors above and blow had fires on them as well. Just using the 6 impacted floors would create a 258,000 sq ft inferno. The tower collapses, and as the burnng materials get to street level the heat is pushed outwards around the collapse zone. As that cloud went around the very first corner to come onto the intersection of Broadway and Barclay, the heat would still be a factor.

And it doesn't change the fact that in every video/image showing the immediate area around the collapse there is paper everywhere. You can't even see fire in the impact zones of both towers. Even the NIST fire models of the towers shows the floors were never completely engulfed and they have specifically stated the jet fuel from the planes would have burned off in the first 10 minutes.

You have to take into account what the destruction of the Towers made to the fires. It crushed everything. Not even concrete remained. If that doesn't put out fires, there is no water in the world that could do it. And as for the dust cloud. Say half of four floors were burning. That corresponds to 2% of the dust where the rest of it definately is of room temperature if no explosives were involved.

NIST made their analysis solely from a video shot from the north from where you only can see what happens from floor 29 to 47 since the rest of the view is blocked. Well the two diesel tanks in the cellar didn't explode according to NIST in the technical briefing of the draft of the final report, google "NIST WTC 7 Technical Briefing". There was also a daytank of fuel on the fifth floor but there was no talk of an explosion of it and it did not have that much fuel either. It was only for two emergency generators. Any other possible fuel tanks would be too high up.

As a guy who's seen cars baked prior to having the fly ash blasted off. Those car bodies look identical to that. It takes HOURS at high kiln temperatures to achieve that.

They brought in two 30K gpm firefighter boats to pump water from the HUdson. There is also pump trucks that can be used as boosters in series. There was PLENTY of water. WTC 7 was on a separate city block, upflow from the towers. The building also had three holding tanks for a gravity fed backup. The sprinklers were off, thats the problem
