  • แรงจริงๆ ยอากลองขับบ้างจัง

  • this is freaking awesome, i dont see why people are against it so much

  • 3:03 this must be one of the wonders of engineering. truck racing is still an intersting thing tho.

  • TOW TRUCK RACKINGG AARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGHHH!!!

  • much better than stupid Nascar!

  • lol! they destroy the road more than racing.

  • it would be better if they had the trailers hitched up as well

but still cool with out the trailers

  • Three words. "Holy Mother Trucking!"

I can not imagine Anyone racing trucks safely. My hat to all of the drivers.

  • way cooler than american nascar(any racing is) where magicly RWD toyora camrys have a V8 and same w other fwd weirdo cars

  • honestly i don't know what's scarier an F1 oversteering and hitting the guards rails until i watched this... but then F1 doesn't look scary as well.

  • 6:45 Oh sorry did not even see you there buddy lol. Shit 7:06 looked like it hurt, he almost flew through the windshield!! Seatbelt test.

  • "Trucks are weighed to make sure they aren't rebuilt with lighter, more expensive metals"

Yeah, sure. Whatever. They still weigh that, but I'll guarantee the ones with any success have more of that weight moved closer to the track.

  • better than NASCAR pickup racing

  • I miss this show :((((

  • British rednecks.....only a 100 mph....ahahahahahaha......fail again spuds.

  • @MissEgasMoniz It's a semi.... they weigh 3-4 times as much as a NASCAR... you fail pal!

  • @BassPlayer121692 LOL - fuck Nascar spud!

  • @BassPlayer121692 I didn't know a National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing had any weight. A NASCAR racecar does. Who fails?

  • @MissEgasMoniz looking at those crashes, 100 is quite enough!

  • @mackat4ck I was a bit crass - my apologies - fun stuff - lets see 'em go 125mph.

  • awesome. 5 tonnes is light for a truck as big as this and 1250 hp!

  • this is fucking AWESOME !!!

  • HARDCORE

  • Behold! European Hillbillies.

  • @commander672 indeed, kicking American hillbillies' asses with their corny monster trucks ^_^

  • This is awesome.

  • It would be very nice to come with a Scania R 500 V8 (Orginal) and win the race :P That wolud be awsome!!!

  • Take away the spinouts and it's I-285 with clear traffic.

  • I want one

  • Yeah but Mozzofull1.. pointless and dangerous? Smoking. Banned? No.

  • A pointless sport and also very dangerous..i hope this is banned sooner or later!!

  • @Mozzofull1 ha ha the only thing pointless here is you :P

  • @GregDucati and here we go!!..your not very well liked person are you!!

    why dont people like you??

go wear your orange suit and annoy someone else because ive no time for 1st class tits like you.

  • @Mozzofull1 ha you actually replyed what a pointless thing to do

  • Blaming your self means a lack of confidence? To me it seems the opposite. If you can say "hey it was my fault i know i screwed up" you will have to much confidence that you actually accept that the world is not against you, and that you can come back stronger next time. Blaming the world seems more like trying to avoid the reality,

  • 1200hp+ 0-100mph in 9.6 secs damn

  • @tquest1 don't forget that they have 8,135nm of torque but their 730hp v8 road going cousin has around 3500nm of torque, they were indeed 3x heavier than normal sport car

  • i had no idea he raced trucks

  • Catepillar is finish driver :)

  • Me Crashing My Truck Into A Tree

  • Fucking hell I jumped back at 7:12 and I'm not even there.

  • "Normal" racecars are like drills or swords; small agile and precise.

"these are like the excalibur "

  • With American's love affair with semi trucks, I don't understand why this isn't more popular here.

  • He seems overly cocky..

  • Wow, I thought Steve Parish was more of a motorcycle guy, doing commentary for the TT and MotoGP for BBC, etc. Who knew he used to dominate trucks.

  • what stupid added sfx!?

  • DANM I really miss this program..... Hammer on fire I thinks awesome

  • the need a spoiler from pikes peak rally cars ;D

  • they are limited to 160km/h by electronic.. also the sounds from tires and engines ect isnt real.. its all studio sound and doesnt even come close to the real sound of these things

  • @fmincer

Stock Scania R620 truck is able reach 150-160km/h without limiter at 125km/h.

This machines are able reach even 200+km/h in race trim.

  • @2jzgtejza80

    hi,

sorry i meant the regulations force them to be limited to 160km/h for safety.. those monsters could easy be alot faster than that but that would need alot more safety things on the track

  • @fmincer

Yeah right, because you need very big and 2 expensive brakes to stop 5500kg from 160km/h to lower speeds, think about 200km/h or greater, brakes would be explode.

  • the music makes it magical

  • yeah! tires squeal on the sand! fake sounds on this video are killing me :) LOL

  • What he says about a smooth driving technique is absolutely true even in driving normal trucks. You learn to flow with the sometimes immense weights involved rather than fighting with them. For those of us who drive on the road, there is also the added factor of fuel consumption, so smoothness and smart use of weight is essential.

  • ssssccccccccrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr...thats the whole video. lol.

  • This is such an awsome sport. It boggles the mind how something so boring like F1 can be so popular, yet truck racing is pretty much unheard of.

  • Just how did this not catch on here in the United States? Big trucks, crashing, speed. Come on!

  • @Dogman36 Exactly, I've never been able to understand it.

  • what have these trucks for a acceleration (0-100kmh/ 0-60mph)?

  • @Czornebog believe it or not, 0-100km/h in about 3.2 secs, although they rarely gets faster than 160km/h

  • @Czornebog 9.6sec.

  • @Czornebog he said 9.6, but to the maximum limited of 160kmh. 4-5 seconds is up to 100km/h

  • @TransAmDrifter for shure 4-5 seconds to 100km/h? thats nearly as fast as a superbike :-O

  • @Czornebog with torque something about 4000Nm? :)

  • @TransAmDrifter

The engines are limited to 12 liters (usually 6 cyls as V or I formation) producing between 1200- 1600 bhp also with 5000 - 6500 Nm. They generates huge amount of torque at very low RPM so 5 secs to 100km/h or 10 secs to 160km/h is pretty fast considering it's 5 tones trucks, and they are also constructed for high acceleration, rather than top speed (about 230-240+km/h)

  • u should put normal but quicker race cars in with them and put them at the back i wonder who would win lol

  • redneck version of F1 racing!

  • @matt70532 Retarded stereotypes talking about other stereotypes.

  • See! Europe has rednecks too!

  • Fuck nascar, this shit is more better

  • Scary as it looks, doesn't anyone here reckon that this looks like something you could do to test a new trucks performance and safety levels?

  • that got be some scary shit

  • do these come in jdm? lol

  • 4:48 - 4:50

whoa.. that a big ass bump. xD

  • whats with the crap sound effects ruined a good video

  • @wheeliehome Sound effects? Where?

  • @janis0zo theres a few like the tyres making noise on sand.

  • @1dave987 Are you a fucking retard?

  • Like gigantic DTM cars from '96. Those guard rails don't seem to be very effective.

  • It's a pity there's no Kenworth w900 double cab racing there :(

  • why not put trailers behind them and watch them race...same like the dutch caravan race we had....also very fun

  • holy crap! are they on the ring? curling is a sport that involves a lethargic rock and you control it simply with a bunch of cheap ass brooms. but that doesnt stop it from being something hard enough to be worthy of being an olympic sport. enduros are like golf. smaller autocrosses are like cricket. its really cool to see that something so big and lumbering become something so gracefull in the righ hands. and that somebody makes money off of it.

  • they need to get these things going around Daytona.

  • they should put weight on the rear wheels

  • That looks like serious fun!!!

  • truck racing = FUBAR

  • espectacular

  • I remember watching this on TV was a kid.

  • When he says 9 seconds for 0 to 100 does he mean mph or kph?

  • @zupperm

i think km/h because the most were saing 0 - 60 and mean mph

    hope this helps

  • @niklasmich no, he really does mean mph ...these things are seriously quick and I remember seeing one beat a Sapphire Cosworth from a standing start into the first corner at Silverstone.

  • how great are those skid pads!!!

  • from TT racer to truck driver racer :P

  • Anyone know their skidpad numbers? :P

  • love it when you were racing. and the people behind you was like .. " cant you drive faster?" and start pushing your butt.. XD

  • We NEED this in the States! Screw those hicks in their cute little NASCAR trucks.

  • @ExUSSailor Hum hum, actually there is some truck series in USA ;) Only problems, they are regional and marginal series... And, more often than anything else, they are on oval which is not bad, but road racing is not bad to...

  • @therrydicule Well, I will have to keep my eyes open. I live on the East Coast, and haven't seen any yet. Personally, I'm not too crazy about oval track racing. I find road racing much more exciting.

  • @ExUSSailor The problem is to develop these series... This is not easy: when it come to any racing series, you have to deal with a lot of problems: business problem, internal politics (teams, drivers, security official, track owner), external politics (city gov't, ecologic, sound), economics, para-judiciary (a rules book, driving license), assurance, accounting, measurement...

I would like to have the Super Truck from France (1400 hp/4800kg + tubular chassis) but I can't do that by myself.

  • @therrydicule No doubt. But, we didn't even have a road course in my area until a few years ago. Now, there's 2 within a 2 hour drive. And the older of the 2 hosts several AMA, SCCA, and even a Volkswagen TDI series event.

  • @therrydicule yep. Pikes Peak

  • @ExUSSailor what would be even more fun: NASCAR trucks and these trucks in the same race ...

  • @aseglkj Ha,Ha! I agree.

  • @ExUSSailor We had (may still have) our own.....When I was a kid, my grandparents took my cousins and I every year to see big rigs race at Pocono. It wasn't as popular here.....but we used even bigger trucks than these. It was quite badass imo. They were forced to start racing on dirt tracks because they ripped the shit out of the asphalt. Just try to picture Mack, International, Peterbuilt, etc trucks, souped up in racing trim going all out at Pocono.

  • @ExUSSailor

you too stiupid to use it - look at your harbour oil everywhere

  • @elveezultra Why the hostility? I wasn't an asshole to you, no need for you to be one to me.

  • Truckin'...got my chips SMASHED in!

  • Ce ne sont pas des courreurs, mais des sauvages au volant LOL

  • geile Scheiße, von mir 5 *****

  • Some of those clips are from the original hard truck intro :)

  • oh.that is awesome video clip.

  • Armco doesn't quite do the stopping job XD

  • Are they using slick tyres?

Im deffinately want one of this trucks in my dream garage!) Just imagine face of some 911 driver that was overtaked by lorry somewhere at Nring xD ofc u need to disable limiter.

  • @Ilovetypography , no but the have very little tread , i was at the ring when this was filmed , we was racing a class d ERF B seris with a 14 litre big cam cummins with 900hp, we had friestone tires on then we but continental race tyres on this took 14 secs a lap of the time

  • Man, there's never a bobby around when you're looking for one! hahahaha :-)

  • "Normal" racecars are like drills or swords; small agile and precise.

These things...well they're great big fucking sledgehammers.

  • @infringementMAN

AND These trucks have good weight distribution...?? uh xD i mean BAD

  • @infringementMAN

Can you tell me under 9,8 up to 100 mph or 100 kmph? I'm europian, so I don't know. Both of them are impressive... Thanks if you answer. Bye

  • @infringementMAN No doubt about that.

  • @infringementMAN NUFF' SAID.

  • God, I wosh this show would go back on the air. As a kid I thought it was the coolest thing ever. Too bad that narrator passed away, because I think that gravely voice made it even cooler.

Btw:The narrator was Porkins from the original Star Wars.

  • rofl what a coincidence. porkins of all people. i suppose guessing the cause of his death can't be too hard.

  • best thing i watched all day

  • that was cooollll...

  • Very useful informations tnx

  • wow i haven't seen this in ages something 6 years ago lol

  • lol Optimus Prime should try racing like that

  • he would OWN the races. then it would be called the Prime Prix....wait that's a dumb name. let's go with Optimus' race.

  • I got the game Super truck rasing for the ps2 and its man run and you can have intruck veiw

  • ahahahaha!! its like a couple of buildings on wheels! in a race track!! ahahaha..lmao

  • I like how the crash barrier gives up and leans over :D

  • Do they still run this series?

  • LOL

    NICE RACES XD

  • hahah the tow truck at the end. i guess if someone else got into an accident they would be stuck there for the rest of the race

  • cool

  • gay sound effects

  • "once a race driver starts blaming himself he's nearly finished, he's lost his confidence" ... What a bs. Without "blaming yourself" you can't recognize your mistakes, which is the first step on the road of preventing them from happening in the future.

  • It would be cool if people were standing on the back of the trucks fighting with swords while they were racing!!!

  • yeah or if there were elfs flying around the truck while it was driving or dragons lying on the roof of the truck while it was driving and spitting fire!!

  • @lytealight lol

  • @lytealight that's probably the smartest thing i've heard all week...

  • @lytealight ummm....wut?

  • @lytealight ahahahahah

  • @lytealight

What drugs did you take ? =O

  • @lytealight That's one of the most brilliantly random comments I've ever read!

  • wow. the DVLA get everywhere! he has to use a tachograph!

  • larag ^^

  • hihi... neftebach?

  • 6:37

    driving on road fail lol

  • the driver steve parrish is a former motorcycle racer. There is a truck racing game called super trucks. If you have questions about truck racing, ask me. I am a big fan of this series.

  • why don't they have any wings like formula one? too low budget?

  • wing is to keep car on the ground...have you ever seen a truck flying XD

  • As he said, the wings are to keep the formula's to the track, because they are very light and travel very fast. These things weigh, as said, over 5 tonnes and travel - compared to formula 1's - very slow.

  • the cab would spoil the airflow and it would be ineffective.

the trucks dont go fast enough and it would be ineffective.

  • what the hell is wrong with soundeffects?!?!?

    kinda anoying.

  • sounds like wind noise

  • Very nicely put together. Excellent!

  • GO CAT!

  • I've seen them many times live. It still is awesome to see them roll by!

  • that's hardcore

  • I think NASCAR should add a truck racing series and I don't mean like the craftsman truck series, I mean like big rig kinda deal. But the races would have to be as long as the tires hold out cause it be kinda boring to have like a 4 minute pit stop in between.Yeah I can see it now haha The Freightliner Truck Racing series hahah I'd watch that.

  • what's the differences between a peter built baby and a one that's not peter built?

The baby that's not peter built comes from a test tube

  • what's the difference between cars going fast on ovals and truck?? none, because they never break much going into corners and since the banking helps combat the sideways G-forces where's the engineering skill in that?

in these truck races just braking a 5 ton truck requires serious brakes and water cooling in addition, not to mention driving one in a flat long unbanked curve is a hell of a lot harder than going on a banked oval round and round

  • Its not so much about the engineering skill as you say it is. Is more the excitement people would get out of watching that. If you want to watch fighter jets on wheels you watch F1 or the Le Mans series. But Nascar, is more about what people can do to car to make it go faster using suspension, roll bar, camber and air pressure adjustment, or else the car goes so fast that it becomes uncontrollable, but you already knew that right? Besides the ovals aren't completely flat so the car bounces

  • and if you have that bouncing its pretty dangerous, because you'll flip the car like nothing. Either way I was just saying that about a Nascar big rig series, so that it reaches wider audiences in America. idk how it is in Europe, but we have to pay extra to see F1, Touring Championships, while we get Nascar and Indy on national TV. Racing has always been about making a spectacle for the masses and having different. ways to entertain people is where the real technology is at

  • How da hell do you set a "MAXIMUM" speed for a "RACE"?? safety? rofl speed at your own risk...

  • it`s for the safety of the crowd not the drivers. the barriers can`t stop a 5 ton truck at over 100 mph

  • It also makes it more competitive. Like some of the cup races, where all the car are identical, it makes the drivers skill a deciding factor not the machines performance. And as stated already, when big trucks and speed are added together certain safety factors MUST be implemented.

  • Hey, the man with the CEPSA truck is the 2-times european truck champion, Antonio Albacete (Spain)

He started as a touring car driver in the Spanish touring car championsh but, when the championship disappeared, he became a truck driver (he doesn't like GTs or open wheels)

  • One more thing, after the "Parrish era", a Finland driver (the one with the CAT) won a few champs, then Albacete came and now, the reigning champ is a driver from Czech Republic driving a '08 Buggyra (Albacete finished 2nd with a '07 MAN TGA)

Races were normally held in secondary circuits (Jarama, Zolder, Most, etc) but now they are held in the best circuits (Montmelo, Nürburgring, Paul Ricard, Le Mans and more)

  • Wow!

But when he say "twelve hundred and fifthy"

    what he means???

    twelve hundred don't exist!

It's amazing that he can handle gears.

hummm, after the first what comes? the four or the twelve?

One hundred and twenty = 120

One thousand and two hundred= 1200

    Twelve thousand= 12000

    Now repeat.

  • God your an idiot. Twelve hundred is just another way to say one thousand two hundred, it flows a little easier during conversation. A lot of people say it that way. Teachers say it that way for Christs sake. Stop trying to sound intelligent, you've already failed miserably at it.

  • dante 1969 you're so stupid and you think you're intelligent

  • Omg man get off the drugs.
