@rodricanallon - If you are asking how to cheat and do it quickly, you will have to open up the console and type: "__main__.G.Lacroix_Embrace=1" This will make the game think LaCroix has given you permission and the dialog option will appear when you talk to your companion.

@Dersiox Better graphics won't make this game any more fun than it already is. This game already has a lot of "Fun Factor" and once you start playing it, you will continue to play it. A good game equals "Fun Factor" not good graphics. I played too many games that were all graphics but bore to hell. In fact, I've never bought a game in my life for graphics only. Nice visuals are just that...visuals. But what? You're going to stare at graphics the whole game? Not much fun in that.

@Quentinsama - Splice existing lines of audio into new lines of audio. The key was searching the close captioning text for instances of words and vowels.
@Quentinsama - Depends on your definition of companion. Tutorial aside, there are humans right outside your apartment at the beginning you can recruite as mindless servants . I went with the MC route because a mindless servant doesn't require a lot of voice acting. Willing companions dont show up until further into the game. They have more dialog, but can't be posed. Some NPCs are only available as unwilling servants (like Damsel), others can be recruited either way (Like Jeanette).

Do you have to be Tremere for it or can my Malkavian have it? Also, how did you get all the girls in your room and do they pose naturally or do you always have to tell them too. Is it also possible to only have 1 or 2 of the girls instead of all of them?
@begothprincess - House - That is a nosferatu only haven. Any clan can have companions, but it is more difficult for Nos and Gang. There is a 7 companion max, but you can tell people to leave so you can try others. They appear in your haven (only 2 can travel with you). In CompMod, they will just stand there unless you pose them. There are other mods that have incorporated CompMod that have people auto-move around the haven, but they also removed posing. (So take your pick).
@dzero247 I fixed the outfit pack downloads yesterday. It may take 24 hours or so for the changes to propogate to all the google site servers. Anyway, try hitting reload on the Lily Outfit page before clicking the zip file download link and see if that fixes it. As for lacroix, there is a point in the game where you no longer work for him. It is towards the end.

@RobotAnatomy - Splayde was a indie band (local to my area) that had a CD out about 5 years ago, but it didn't take off so the group broke up. I got the CD at one of their gigs. You can still find stuff on the internet (I think they have some youtube videos up), but the shrink wrapped CD.... I guess my copy is officially a collectors item =). Unfortunately, I dont think there is a big market for unknown Indie band CDs...

@Orbytaltm No. Embracing was not included with the default game. You have to install a mod for that. This one includes the ability. There are some others (based on this one) that also include the ability.
You know what I had in mind actually after seeing all this? I think it would be so great if it perhaps could be possible to make a nude patch for VTMB. Nothing to much, just these hot and vampirised companions going topless when told through the dialogue. And it would be cool for this only to work in heaven, be cause if you go nude out side, cops start to chase you for making a criminal violation. Sounds great, dont ya think?
@wcdornez The mod supports "outfit packs". Basically you can install any VTMB compatible model into an existing NPC's directory and the mod will pick it up and make it an option for them to change into via dialog. There are some prefabs on the website, but there are also instructions for creating your own if you find some models you want to use. You may want to try searching for GameVixenZone. Last time I checked (about a year ago), they had a pretty big selection of VTMB models.

@wcdornez CompMod was built on top of a special version of the unofficial patch which is included with the download. There are 2 files you need to install and unpack. The Core CompMod and then the 1.4 patcher from CompMods website. VTMB will only allow you to install 1 mod or patch at a time. If you want it ALL try searching for VTMB 2010, it is a single mod that merges partial content from 3 popular mods, though you wont get the full content of any of them. (ie, it doesn't allow possing)

@vipsign : I have not tested it personally on W7, but I have heard from testers it works fine there. If VTMB runs fine without the mod, then it is probably an installation issue. If it does not, then it is more likely a hardware issue. I think the most common W7 issue is people playing on machines with more than 3.5 Gigs of RAM. Check the readme. It should contain a FAQ with out a lot of common issues and fixes.
@CrazyClara101 : Yukie and Heather are the only 2 options for embrace. But you can make all sorts of humans your servants. (See the spoilers page on the website). I was going to add some male options for embrace in 1.5, but that release was cancelled.
@Kyokyo101 Make sure you are using the Keypad. Also, KP_0 will only bring up the menu while the pose system is active. IE: You must start the pose system by talking to a companion within the haven first. Search google for VTMB CompMod, (it is hosted on google sites), go to Getting Started -> Animated Poses. It covers the basics as well as points to the file you need to change if you dont have a number pad.
@Kyokyo101 : There is a config file mentioned on the website that you can edit that will let you configure whatever keys you want for the pose system. However, the help screen will not reflect the keys you configure. So you will want to write them down on a piece of paper.
@Tygra81 : The video shows all the poses available. The two you mention are not included. They will not pose unless instructed to. I have heard of other mods that have added that feature. Searcg google for planet-vampire (make sure you go to the site with the DASH in the name). Go to the Forum and then click on the VTMB2010 release link in the top right corner. I dont support that mod, but it may have what you are looking for.

You know what I had in mind actually after seeing all this? I think it would be so great if it perhaps could be possible to make a nude patch for VTMB. Nothing to much, just these hot and vampirised companions going topless when told through the dialogue. And it would be cool for this only to work in heaven, be cause if you go nude out side, cops start to chase you for making a criminal violation. Sounds great, dont ya think?

@wcdornez The mod supports "outfit packs". Basically you can install any VTMB compatible model into an existing NPC's directory and the mod will pick it up and make it an option for them to change into via dialog. There are some prefabs on the website, but there are also instructions for creating your own if you find some models you want to use. You may want to try searching for GameVixenZone. Last time I checked (about a year ago), they had a pretty big selection of VTMB models.

Now I am gonna go there and download my self some hot upgrades for VTM but the forum downloads link fucked me up saying the requested URL wasnt found. The gold patch is going fine tho. @wcdornez CompMod was built on top of a special version of the unofficial patch which is included with the download. There are 2 files you need to install and unpack. The Core CompMod and then the 1.4 patcher from CompMods website. VTMB will only allow you to install 1 mod or patch at a time. If you want it ALL try searching for VTMB 2010, it is a single mod that merges partial content from 3 popular mods, though you wont get the full content of any of them. (ie, it doesn't allow possing)

I think I will go for that rather than the VTMB 2010, since it just seems like a better and more entertaining choice. I cant wait to lay down all these super hot vampirised companions in my new and spacious v-heaven! :) And then kick some ass. hehehe

@BlackJ34 - As long as you work for Lacroix, you can only sire 1. But once you are no longer in his employ, then you can sire more.

@vipsign : I have not tested it personally on W7, but I have heard from testers it works fine there. If VTMB runs fine without the mod, then it is probably an installation issue. If it does not, then it is more likely a hardware issue. I think the most common W7 issue is people playing on machines with more than 3.5 Gigs of RAM. Check the readme. It should contain a FAQ with out a lot of common issues and fixes.

How do you bring the pose guide up? I pressed the 0 key, but nothing happened.

@Kyokyo101 Make sure you are using the Keypad. Also, KP_0 will only bring up the menu while the pose system is active. IE: You must start the pose system by talking to a companion within the haven first. Search google for VTMB CompMod, (it is hosted on google sites), go to Getting Started -> Animated Poses. It covers the basics as well as points to the file you need to change if you dont have a number pad.

@Kyokyo101 : There is a config file mentioned on the website that you can edit that will let you configure whatever keys you want for the pose system. However, the help screen will not reflect the keys you configure. So you will want to write them down on a piece of paper.

@Tygra81 : The video shows all the poses available. The two you mention are not included. They will not pose unless instructed to. I have heard of other mods that have added that feature. Searcg google for planet-vampire (make sure you go to the site with the DASH in the name). Go to the Forum and then click on the VTMB2010 release link in the top right corner. I dont support that mod, but it may have what you are looking for.
