It's rehearsal so does it really matter where he's looking? and if you really want to know the lyrics are on a prompt below the balcony seating, so he would be looking up not straight ahead.

Wow... talk about awkward! That boy simply refused to look at Charice! The tension was in the air and it's like an invisible wall between them... Charice kept looking at someone from her left and the guy had his eyes dead in front.

Good thing it didn't affect their singing, though the boy stopped in the middle at around 1:09

deadoralive0013, I know what you mean. The actual performance however was a great improvement. You can see how professional Charice was. She initiated the eye contact, etc during the live performance.

charice might be out of tune because of the boy and he is not in good timing....

You have to remember he's just a 14 year-old boy. So he's going to be awkward and nervous. The part he stopped at was the English part...he's not a native English speaker. Charice has more stage presence because she's used to it now.

Also that's probably the first time they've sung the song together. I know from watching the show that they have a week to learn the songs and most of the time they have more than one at a time to learn.
