Ha...this is hilarious for me.....because since most of the anime I watch is english dubs, I knew about Detective Conan about a decade before I knew about Kekkaishi.
I can't really say what they were saying. However, I believe the reason why Conan appeared in a crossover clip with Kekkaishi is because the two anime series used to air in the same TV network in Japan , with Detective Conan (Case Closed) airing right after Kekkaishi then. As such, this clip is probably intended to tell the viewers that Conan is coming up next.
