The lawsuit was actually against another software company that made Make the Cut, similar to SCAL. The guy who wrote it settled, and SCAL changed its program to avoid a similar lawsuit.

They also have de-activated Make the Cut for Cricut. However, the Sizzix Eclips still works with SCAL, and I love my new Eclips.

prolly because Cricut sued the pants off Sure-Cuts-A-Lot for copywrite infringement and it wont work with Cricut anymore.

@Buckleigh not entirely accurate. You're right; it won't work with the new cricuts or any updated recently via gypsy, but I have a previous version that it still works with. I use it all the time (in fact did it today) and I have no interest in updating. But you're right, they did sue and won for copyright infringement and some other BS, even though the SCAL didn't technically infringe on the copyright because they didn't use images or technology by provocraft. Shame really.
