First off, I LOVE the fact that he has not cashed since this tournament. Karma bit him right in the ass.

Anyway, yeah, Eric's a bit misguided here. I would be able to understand his point a little better if Molina had better cards, but it wasn't like Jacobs had a ton of chips to begin with, and Jacobs' AT WAS suited, which is not a terrible hand at all, especially if you are short stacked, as was the case here.

Oh, and, um, Eric, you are the one who called his all-in with QJ. Yeah, it was suited, but there are fifteen starting hands better than QJ suited, and not only was Jacobs' AT suited one of them, there's the possibility that Jacobs could have had a big pocket pair.

I'm not saying that calling with QJ suited was a TERRIBLE call. I'm just saying that it was worse than Jacobs going all in, preflop, shortstacked, with an Ace and a high, *suited* kicker.

2, from what it sounds like molina berated that guy because he made a terrible "call" and challenged molinas "raise" with A-10 suited. he told the dude he made a terrible call cause he risked his tournament life preflop with ace 10 suited.

Third, Molina is not the new Phil Hellmuth. Hellmuth has respect from every pro due to his knowledge and understanding of poker. molina is just a mouthy kid who likes to gamble. Hellmuth doesnt gamble and when he berates a player, chances are he's right.

Ya, it was a good call at the time but making that type of call you need a stronger all-in preflop hand... He could of called Molina with K10 suited and would still be beating him. But is that considered a good call still? No because your still risking your tournament life preflop with an overated hand.
