Anyone saying that Myles isn't as good as Axl or some shit like that, here's the thing: Guns N Roses were amazing in the late eighties when they had a good lineup, and Axl's voice was in its prime. People in the day picked on Robert Plants voice sound, Vince Neils, and Geddy Lee's, but the truth is not many singers have came to terms with their own voice and created a unique sound like Myles and the rest of the greats have!

Beautiful. I've got Slash Live in Manchester and myles was sick for that concert and didn't sound too good. This is just bloody perfect. Anyone that can not only sing guns and roses songs, velvet revolver, solo songs, and all those things AND put their own twist on it deserves all the fame and recognition in the world. This whole concert was badass, I just hope I can see slash live.

Myles is singing it better than Axl ever did! Axl could learn a lot of Myles. Kennedy is one of the technically best vocalists of all time.
The only thing Myles can learn from Axl is making the crowd insane. He's definately more talented in singing than "screaming" Axl!

I love Myles voice but not on this song; If you compared the two it's like having great sex on the Axl original and Myles' cover is like sub par sex you're just hoping it's gonna be over soon. I watched that metal show tonight and Myles said it's hard to cover some of these songs and you gotta give him props for trying. C+ a valiant effort

In a fair world, Axl would be cleaning Myles' shoes. Yes, he was iconic and had a great band going. But I'm sure Slash is doing a better version of Guns n' Roses than Axl, and he isn't even trying.

This is nothing short of amazing. Myles Kennedy!!! Yes! The vocals were awesome. He should not even try to do Axl Rose "style" re stage presence. Myles Kennedy reminds me more of Jim Morrison who was one of the greatest front men of all time. Slash needs no comment....always awesome. google Morrison you guys who havent heard of him lol

just my opinion but whollly crap!!!! What is up with Myles Kennedy? He sounds incredible singing Guns N Roses music! Never heard of him until Alter Bridge and that's an ok band, don't much care for his voice there....I much prefer Creed. GN'R I love the band with Axl but Axl's an ass totally, he needs to grow up. Listening to Myles singing GN'R songs.......I am blown away! I'm sold! Like I said, my opinion but I prefer Myles sing with Slash....what a great combo.......they click well together.

Slash also opened for Billy Idol in Chicago, Windsor (Canada), and some other places. Billy Idol performed in Atlanta with Joan Jett and the Blackhearts as his opening act though.

I think we can all agree that nobody can do this like Axel, but Myles definitely did the song justice and his voice is on point for sure. Beautiful. I've got Slash Live in Manchester and myles was sick for that concert and didn't sound too good. This is just bloody perfect. Anyone that can not only sing guns and roses songs, velvet revolver, solo songs, and all those things AND put their own twist on it deserves all the fame and recognition in the world. This whole concert was badass, I just hope I can see slash live.

Axl is a selfish person, and if you don't agree with that you must be either a fanboy, or a total ignorant. While Myles is a great leader of Alter Bridge, Tremmonti expresses very well towards him. And I do thing Myles has a better voice than Rose, but yet again, it's all based on opinions, try to respect them.

I respect your opinion and there is some validity in your opinion because Myles is one terrific singer and frontman. But, I disagree with him overpowering Axl on this song (as well as other GnR songs). Axl's wide vocal range, from the deepest to the loud shrieks cannot be done by Myles. Axl was a one of the most formidable and dominant frontman of all time.

@AlterBridge4ever01 Axl Rose to me, has a higher status simply because he was the frontman of one of the top rock n roll bands of all time. Myles doesn't share that kind of status. I'm not saying he is not great, but Axl is more or less a very renowned and extremely talented frontman, composer and lyricist. He was a big part of Guns n' Roses success. You can't deny that. Now I do agree Axl does have problems and can be very unpredictable, but that being said, he is still one of the best ever.
