Well PETA takes in animals that are sick and in pain and would suffer the rest of their life if they were alive. So PETA does what they have to do to stop animals from suffering. The other % of animals can be given veterinary care and then are found good homes. Peta doesn't wonder the streets killing animals!

@rhinogek nope think your wrong only 40% of slaughter houses use a "head holder" and they use a "captive bolt gun" to "kill" the animals, but due to uneducated idiots the lasting 60% don't use a head holder to kill them, instead they struggle to get a good shot of the head. and have to shock them 3-5 times before they get the head when they are on the ground. I don't listen to all PETA bullshit. I think most of them are idiot, I do my own researching...

PETA isn't against having pets exactly. They are against pet stores [most treat their animals like crap], puppy mills [they keep their puppies in harsh conditions], and not taking good care of your pet. Oh and they also don't like calling them "pets", they're "companions", I agree with treating animals well and all that, but i see no point in calling a pet a "companion". Sorry PETA  gotta disagree there
