  • This was when JR was a Heel.

  • its wierd to hear the glass shatter and not hear a massive pop.

  • @merman08 actually it's Sable

  • i went to this when i was 5. it was awesome.

  • i went to this when i was 5. it was awesomeee.

  • ...Hey I think that may be pornstar Devon Lee who accomanied Hunter to the Ring in this one.

  • first time *glass shatters*

  • JR is pissed

  • Jim ross was nt lyin when he said he think both r future champion

  • Who is that amazing woman with HHH? It's not Sunny or Sable. I can't find her anywhere.

  • lol at King "Maybe that means Helmsley is No. 1"

  • Hey PG< Austin 3:16 says I just whipped your ass and that's the bottom line cause Stone Cold said so

  • Fuck PG, Austin rules

  • Notice at this point how little the crowd seems to care about Austin and HHH. Barely any reaction when they enter the aisle and go into the ring. 1-2 years later they're the engines that drive the company.

  • Thanks a lot for posting the whole PPV! :D

  • HHH, Austin, and Vince, Jr an Lawler the attitude era main cast here, the Rock is the only one who's left.

  • 4:24 The first time the "Hell Frozen Over" entrance theme was used for Steve Austin.

  • Mankind vs Sid - The battle of the psychopaths

  • J.R. is pissed!

  • @jpfifthomen did you see Vince McMahon's reaction walking away? Like "I'm gonna chew your ass off behind closed doors JR." (LOL)

  • On a side note, it's amazing to see how many new wrestling fans there must be these days. Either that or just kids. Triple H doesn't even go by what he was originally called in WWF...Hunter Hearst Helmsley. He had a blue blood gimmick when he first came to WWF.

  • It's amazing how Stone Cold kept the same character and slowly and slowly became an epic fan favorite. Here he gets no reaction and for much of 96 and half of 97 he didn't get much of a reaction at all. Once summer 97 rolled around he was the biggest 'face' in the WWF. He never changed his character. Just sums up the Attitude Era when faces acted like heels and got cheered.

  • Lawler's prediction of us seeing a stunner or a pedigree in this match was an awfully bold prediction

  • the beginning of a rivalry!!!

  • whos the girl with HHH , i dont remember her

  • @HighestPastor Sonny

  • @HighestPastor hhh was known at this tiem to bring a diffrent girl with him to ringside foreach matchthey were all beauties.

  • WWE should put out a In Your House Anthologhy 1-28 in a nice house style.

  • Amazing Jr Said At 8:49 I Think Both This Men Are Future Champions He Was Absloutly Right Who Would Ever Known They Nearly Ended Each Other Carrers Just To Be A Tag Team In 2001 Strange.

  • I Still Hope These Jack Asses In The WWE Should've Made A Box Set Of All The In Your Houses.

  • And just FYI this was the 1st time Austin used the Glass Shattering theme.

  • @Humanoidfreak If you think those matches are crap, you got no business talking about wrestling but yes @StanKingston420 why would you want the WWE to re-release them? All their gonna do is edited shit out and it gonna take away from the vintageness the PPVs have.

  • I cant believe that Triple H career is over due to sheamus. Triple H needs to comeback to the WWE. he's a wrestling legend!!!.

  • Was this when JR turned heel and brought in Fake Razor?

  • Stone Cold is the best

  • wow they dont have great build ups for matches like this anymore!

  • @gtatitan

they would but they dont have a clue how to

  • Damn this brings back some memories. I was there and it was pretty cool. My first live wrestling event. The thing that sucked was I was just a kid and my fuckin Dad kept wanting to go smoke every 15 to 20 mins so I missed alot. Thanks for posting this so I can finally see what I missed. Thanks alot Dad.

  • who knew that these 2 would become 2 of the best in the business

  • I was there at market square arena for this show. It was awesome beacause i was right behind where the grave site was so i got a great view of taker and mankind when they were fighting down there. I remember the arena workers or whoever they were told us not to lean on the rail during the buried alive match because the pyro was going to go off during or after the match. Good show and i had alot of fun even though it wasn't one of the better in your house cards from top to bottom.

  • Please upload WCW final Nitro in 2001! and Bragging Rights 2009

  • Taker vs Mankind never got stale. From the Boiler Room Brawl to Hell in a Cell. They just had a great chemistry together for storylines and matches

  • wonder if JR's "attitude" was part of storyline or if he was just havin a shitty day

  • @stubby42642 It was part of a storyline. This was around the time he started acting like a heel and when he brought out the fake Diesel and Razor.

  • @stubby42642 - It was the "heel" JR gimmick.

  • Time to play the Game...of shitty early gimmicks.

  • Who's the lovely blonde with Hunter ??? :D

  • WHO the hell dresses up as shawn michaels and the undertaker to go to a wrestling show -____- i bet evey got on them lmao

  • Heh, I like all of the cheesy looking graphics WWF had back then. Like they have the coffin opening with the PPV name here; Mind Games had some skull with a mankind mask, etc. lol

  • this was the first time i ever head anyone cheer for austin and almost the whole arena was cheerin... this is when he started raisin hell

  • I was there in the Market Square Arena, Indianapolis... was 10 years old

  • I don't remember because i never saw this but was Steve Austin still a heel by this time

  • @MrAvenger2

He was kind of like Edge right now; he TRIED to be a heel but his attitude make him involuntary be loved by the WWE universe, McMahon realize that and thous Attitude era was born.

    Those were the days man

  • @KADG81 Kinda like the Undertaker I suppose. They tried him out as a heel and the fans still cheered him.

  • @KADG81 man shawn michaels and hhh officially started the attitude era

  • @bteocean08

No they didn't; yes their debut was before austin's but he was the very first with the attitude "I do whatever I want and nobody can stop me"

I put it like this; Austin was having the whoop your ass catchphrase and giving the finger a year before DX was formed

  • @KADG81 touche man, you right its evident here with the middle fingers and cussing...but obviously there not trying to accept it. vince is saying turn the sound off so the camera crew doesnt catch his verbiage. I think that they fully embraced dx though...meaning vince and everyone else..after dx formed i felt a lot more wrestlers came to it. Because back in the day i do not think at this point in 1996 no body backstage really appreciated it or liked it..except the fans because they cant boo him

  • @bteocean08

Thx man, good to read from a hardcore geek of wrestling (such as I am). I don't tell U to suscribe because I never upload shit. But if you want to keep talking wrestling (wich I do love) let's keep in touch

    Have a nice day:)

  • @KADG81 Man I love talking wrestling man. A lot of people just do not respect what these guys do on a weekly basis. Yes the winners is pre planned but you can fake being slammed jumping off the top rope and landing on someone....i mean these guy get hurt soo much..bleeding..broken bones..torn muscles etc.. and it is all for the fans..there putting on an incredible show and risking life and limp to entertain and I have a ton of respect for that.

  • i think mankind was so cute back then.

  • Austin slapped the taste of of HHH lmao

  • Wow..the 96 King Of The Ring VS the 97 King Of The Ring...classic match!!!

  • @sarkissamuel Yeah who knew in just a year these 2 would 2 of the staples of the World Wrestling Federation/World Wrestling Entertainment...the Attitude Era.

  • HHH went from THIS to what he is now...??? wow...

  • 2 future legends going head to head in I believe to be their first of many encounters...

  • Did some kid dare to dress up like Shawn Michaels and talk trash to SCSA?! Bahaha.

  • Weird to hear this when Stone Cold didn't have the crowds going ape shit just yet...

  • The beginning rival between Austin and HHH!!

  • was razor and diesel in this?

  • yup

  • to determom2- this is a great video-however, do you or anyone else on line have all of the in your house buried alive videos , i notice pts. 1 and 4 but unless they're on other videos the rest of the show is missing. please respond

  • The theme that opened this Pay-Per-View would be used as an add-on theme for The Undertaker 6th Theme When Undertaker went up against his brother Kane at WM14

  • holy fuk, triple H 1st theme suckd ballz............... fuck back then *Behold the shittiest theme of all time, then fuckin shittiest theme of ALL TIME*

  • i hav ground zero on vcr , patriot v hitman for the title , wasnt a bad ppv at al ! loved this angle wif j.r . this lead him 2 a heelish type announcer thus bringin in the fake diesel and razor and shootin on mcmahon on an episode of raw

  • I Don't See Why Those Cheap Asses In WWE Didn't Make A Box Set Of All The In Your Houses.

  • there making an antholgy well they may they dont know yet.

  • word

  • @StanKingston420 Sadly a box set now would be filled with blurred logos and all references to the "WWF" being muted. Probably would have changed music too.

  • @StanKingston420 Thats a good point

  • @StanKingston420

    It's on Ebay somewhere.

And why would you want the IYH box set? Half the matches were pure crap.

  • @StanKingston420 or why they havent yet or whose to say they wont in the future? I'd like to see that as well. there was only a handful of good matches on various IYH's that took place. This one had some good-ones.

  • @StanKingston420 because most of them were VERY bad.

  • @LKSPR13 maybe before summerslam 96 but the IYH ppvs after that were great. some of them were better than the big 4.

  • I'm Still Looking For Any Entire clips Of Another "In Your House" Event Called "In Your House Ground Zero".

  • I agree, this is a main event anywhere....no pops for Stone Cold though...I'm shocked

  • I can't tell if the JR thing is an angle or serious

  • wow this is wierd... the rattlesnake vs. the game before thier golden years and they're huge fued

ha jr mic wasn't workin but he sure as hell had psychic powers when he said they were gonna be future champions lol what are the chances?

  • Wow. Awesome Match And Pay-Per-View.

I'm Still Wondering How Did Mankind And Goldust Teamed-up and Did He (Mankind) thought that He (Goldust) was his mommy?.

  • I loved how both Austin and Hunter went outside to argue with that woman at ringside and then Lawler and Vince making fun of her. Also, I hated the heel JR attitiufde he had at this time.

  • Have You Heard That Stone Cold Steve Austin Is Going To Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame?.

  • That's a man, believe it or not! He was an independent wrestler I worked with a few times in Indiana. He worked under the name Cryptomaniac and did a rip-off Undertaker gimmick. He thought he was hot stuff when he got front row tickets. We all gave him all kinds of static because Jerry Lawler called him a woman. LOL!!!

  • i was at this event... almost everyone in the arena started to like stone cold more and more as the match went on... by the end they were cheering for him

  • LMAO ar J.r

" Is anyone paying a damm attention to me? i cant work in these conditons.

  • @Jizzzums69 LOL

  • LMFAO!!

  • LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • good times ....thanks for sharing

  • Wow, I remember these days of wrestling. ECW was ahead of the times but WWF was pretty good back then too.

Hell even the weekend show (Superstars) was not that bad. Then WWF got to it's max around 1998-2001. Starting in 2002, it's been going WAY DOWN.

This was not a bad PPV and for the opening match to be HHH vs Stone Cold.....wow.

  • lmao @ jrs mic not working........if only that would happen to michael cole

  • WOW Thank god HHH has changed from that !

  • Bit of wrestling Trivia: I believe this was the first time Stone Cold used the glass shattering music.

  • Yes it was. He debuted the theme at this event.

  • I Think this was the First Ever Buried Alive Match

  • thanks for posting this.
