I am really proud..i worked for this airlines in india at trichy airport (TRZ) capt and other crew were very friendly..cap amen,fernando pully are flying experts in UL...
i remember 4R-ABA,4R-ABB,4R-ABD frequently towards TRZ.. now 4R-abb is land model in katnayaka Airport. i love to touch the flight again.
my father's best mate is a mechanic for SIA. He says the 777 is far better through maintenance and fuel. I'd rather UL have 777s. I'm aware of the new A320s. I wish they did have an A340-600 though
id reckon sri lankan airlines should have more aircraft 2 their fleet. 14 aircraft isnt that enough 2 compensate 4 50 destinations. mayb more a330s, or getting some b777, or even 787

Sri Lankan Airlines is the best I have flighing with, the secound is Qatar Airways, and then Czech Airlines witch is not flighing to Sri Lanka anymore.
SAS is the bad flight in the world!!! Don't try SAS(Scandinavian Airlines), NEVER!!!

@justtakeiteasy i meant 747-8. the 748 is terrific on fuel (according to Boeing reports).
The 777 of course is great but i say rid the A330.
