I am 60, getting to be an old rock & roller, Love Uriah Heap forever, My Wife & I listen to our UH CDs all the time. Rain & Come Away Melinda still bring tears to our eyes. One of the all time best bands to ever exist.

@machesta1 i second your views entirely, rain and come away melinda bring tears to my eyes everytime i listen to them, which i try not to do daily, as it leaves me feeling heartbroken, i think it's because i miss david byrons beautiful vocals, and his life was cut so short, have just been to a UH concert in Brighton, UK, was awsome, got up on stage with the band to dance ( i say dance), to one of their songs. Thanks to Mick Box for persevering to keep UH going , and ken hensleys lyrics. xxx

You go to a record/cd shop and I see rows of that ultimate crap Rammstein and Bon Jovi,and all I find of Uriah is a live bootleg set,cannot understand why,I am going to check my ears because I hear heaven on earth with songs like this,hope I am not alone in what I feel in this breathtaking melody, I feel for bands like this and Zombies (Oracle & Oddessey )Why do I hear this and others don't

The year was 1972 and I spent much of the summer lost in the music of Uriah Heep's Magician's Birthday album. This was one of my favorites and I have really have no idea why the music from that album impacted me so much.....but that was a summer I will never forget !
